How to get rid of bad habits?

First of all, it is necessary to define what is a bad habit. A bad habit is simply a behavior, an attitude, or a gesture that can disturb others and find it unpleasant, like talking loudly, bawling in a public place, smoking, overeating, talking while eating, and sometimes even small harmless habits can irritate others like chewing gum, biting nails.

The list is very long, but what has been considered a bad habit for some social strata is not for others.

But some habits that are harmful to the person's health, like smoking and drinking alcohol, are really to be fought seriously and imperatively by joining groups to find the proper psychological support to face this problem.

For some habits like biting nails, shouting in public, talking too much, and eating rudely, the encouragement and help of the family are essential.

Showing their children that they are there for them gives them a feeling of comfort that pushes them to overcome these habits that most often emanate from a sense of anxiety and shyness.

Some habits may come and go depending on the person's mental state, but once they disappear, it can be easier to try eliminating them.

Some people need help from specialists such as speech therapists to remedy the stuttering problem because only they can remedy it, not the family.

Some eating habits are considered bad for the person himself, like eating fast food all the time, sleeping late, and having poor personal hygiene.
Just minimize his habits, like preparing food at home. It will save you money and protect your health.

Finally, a better exercise to eliminate all these bad habits that are hard to bear for himself and others is to replace each bad habit with a new good one.

You will see that it is manageable with a bit of willpower and perseverance.

The family indeed has a long way to go in eradicating bad habits, especially in the younger ones.
