Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Cryptic (ENG/ITA)

Good evening, Splinterlands friends!!!

While the Conflicts continue their journey, we are all waiting for the airdrop of the new summoner from the Rebellion card series, Risqruel Drath, a dual-element summoner, Fire and Earth, also costing 7 mana, and it should arrive in the collections of lucky participants in about 17 days.

But I wanted to analyze with you, in this post, the recently concluded airdrop that brought a new monster to the battlefield, Cryptic: let's look at some of its features in this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge.

Cryptic: a very high-cost summoner of 7 mana, it is also dual-element, Water and Death, and therefore can summon monsters from both groups, in addition to neutral monsters.

It inflicts only one debuff on opponents, a -1 in Speed, and Blind, which reduces the accuracy of opponent melee monsters by 15%.

Additionally, we can choose between two extra abilities to give to two cards in our team: Retaliate and Enfeeble, or Poison and Expose. The first two primarily target opponent melee monsters, while the latter two lower the defenses of the other team.

In my opinion, it is a much weaker summoner compared to Lorkus, because it does not provide direct buffs to its own team (while Lorkus gives a +1 in both Melee and Magic), and indeed the market prices are clear: Lorkus is in fourth place with a price of about $17, while Cryptic is in seventh place with a value of about $14.

But let's see this summoner in one of my battles to better understand its characteristics, here is the link:

With Cryptic, we have free choice on the type of monster to select, although a well-placed Health point monster in the Tank position is required, followed by the rest of the team, seeking solid cards both in attack and defense.

My opponent, on the other hand, went with a super classic, the summoner Tarsa, showcasing an almost entirely melee team, leveraging the +1 bonus given by Tarsa.

In the end, I achieved victory, but mainly thanks to the combined attacks and abilities of my cards, especially Nerissa Tridawn and Deeplurker. I still find this new summoner, Cryptic, very difficult to decipher: I don't quite understand in which battles to use it and how to exploit the abilities it offers to the team, but surely, with a little practice, I'll better grasp the situation.

Mentre le Conflicts proseguono il loro percorso, stiamo tutti aspettando l'airdrop del nuovo evocatore della serie di carte Rebellion, ovvero Risqruel Drath, evocatore a doppio elemento, Fire e Earth, sempre dal costo di 7 mana, dovrebbe arrivare nelle collezioni dei fortunati partecipanti tra circa 17 giorni.

Ma volevo analizzare con voi, in questo post, l'airdrop appena terminato che ha portato sul campo di battaglia un nuovo mostro, ovvero Cryptic: vediamo nel Splinterlands Social Media Challenge di questa settimana alcune delle sue caratteristiche.

Cryptic: evocatore dal costo molto alto di 7 mana, è anch'esso di doppio elemento, ovvero Water e Death, e quindi può evocare mostri da entrambi gruppi, in aggiunti ai mostri neutrali.

Infligge un solo debuff agli avversari, un -1 in Speed, e Blind, con cui diminuisce di un 15% la capacità di andare a segno dei mostri melee avversari.

In più, possiamo scegliere tra due abilità aggiuntive da donare a due carte della nostra squadra: Retaliate e Enfeeble, oppure Poison e Expose, le prime due vanno a colpire soprattutto i mostri melee avversari, mentre le seconde due vanno ad abbassare le difese dell'altra squadra.

Secondo me, è un evocatore molto più debole di Lorkus, per il fatto che non dona Buffs diretti alla propria squadra ( mentre Lorkus da un +1 sia in Melee che in Magia ), e infatti le quotazioni sul mercato parlano chiaro: Lorkus è in quarta posizione con un prezzo di circa 17 $, mentre Cryptic è in settima con un valore di circa 14 $.

Ma vediamo questo evocatore in una delle mie sfide, per capire meglio le sue caratteristiche, ecco il link:

Con Cryptic abbiamo carta bianca su che tipologia di mostro scegliere, anche se bisogna schierare un mostro ben piazzato in punti Health in posizione Tank, e il resto della squadra a seguire, cercando carte solide sia in attacco che in difesa.

Il mio avversario, invece, è andato con un super classico, ovvero l'evocatore Tarsa, con sui ha sfoggiato una squadra quasi tutta melee, sfruttando il +1 donato appunto da Tarsa.

Alla fine sono arrivato alla vittoria, ma soprattutto grazie all'unione degli attacchi e abilità delle mie carte, Nerissa Tridawn e Deeplurker in primis, mentre questo nuovo evocatore , Cryptic, lo trovo ancora molto difficile da decifrare: non capisco bene in che sfide usarlo e come sfruttare le abilità che offre alla squadra, ma, sicuramente, con un po' di pratica capirò meglio la situazione.
