Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! - Odd Ones Out (ENG/ITA)

Good evening, Splinterlands friends!!!

Today, we are discussing a frequently encountered ruleset, along with its "twin" Even Stevens. This ruleset is a significant challenge to our card selection strategies, as it halves the options available to us. That's why I always emphasize the importance of acquiring a diverse collection of cards to handle the various rulesets that come up in battle, just like in this week's Battle Mage Secrets!

Odd Ones Out: with this ruleset, you can only deploy cards with an odd mana cost. You'll encounter it frequently in your challenges; by now, I'm used to it and don't get discouraged when I see it.

And here are the game rules:

A fairly tight mana cap of 27, with 3 rulesets: in addition to Odd Ones Out, we have Holy Protection and Equal Opportunity. This seems like a challenge that could greatly benefit melee attack monsters.

And here's the battlefield:

Perhaps against logic, I decided to choose a summoner that I really like but often cannot use, Possibilus the Wise. His cost of 7 mana is quite high for a 27 mana cap battle, but I fielded him anyway, along with a team consisting of Venari Marksrat in the first position, followed by Noah the Just, Kulu Mastermind, Creeping Ooze, Hardy Stonefish, and Chaos Agent.

My opponent also opted for an "innovative" team, with Immortalis as the summoner, and Hill Giant in the tank position, followed by Venari Marksrat, Pelacor Mercenary, Fungus Flinger, Djinn Biljka, and finally Mycelic Morphoid.

It was a fairly even match; we can't say one team significantly outperformed the other. However, in the end, my opponent's Pelacor Mercenary managed to reach 5 melee attack points and 8 Health, which numerically surpassed the stats of my monsters on the field, leading to my opponent's victory.

Oggi parliamo di un ruleset che si incontra molto spesso, insieme al suo "gemello" Even Stevens, perchè si tratta di un bel colpo assestato ai nostri piani di selezionatori di carte, in quanto perdiamo metà della scelta a nostra disposizione.
È per questo che dico sempre che è fondamentale acquistare una bella collezione di carte , per poter affrontare tutti i vari ruleset che si presentano in battaglia, come nel Battle Mage Secrets di questa settimana !!!

Odd Ones Out: con questo ruleset potete schierare in campo solo carte con costo in mana di numero dispari. Lo troverete molto di frequente nelle vostr sfide, io ormai sono abituato e non mi facci certo scoraggiare quando lo vedo.

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

Un mana cap abbastanza ristretto di 27, con 3 ruleset: oltre a Odd Ones Out, abbiamo Holy Protection e Equal Opportunity, sembra una sfida, dunque, che può avvantaggiare molto i mostri con attacco melee.

Forse contro la logica, ho deciso di scegliere un evocatore che a me piace molto, ma che spesso non posso usare, ovvero Possibilus the Wise: il suo costo di 7 mana è troppo eccessivo per una sfida con un mana cap di 27, ma alla fine l'ho schierato lo stesso, insieme ad una squadra formata da Venari Marksrat in prima posizione, seguito da Noah the Just, Kulu Mastermind, Creeping Ooze, Hardy Stonefish e Chaos Agent.

Anche il mio avversario si è orientato verso una squadra "innovativa", con Immortalis come evocatore, e Hill Giant in posizione tank, seguito da Venari Marksrat, Pelacor Mercenary, Fungus Flinger, Djinn Biljka, e, per finire, Mycelic Morphoid.

È stata una sfida abbastanza alla pari, non possiamo dire che una squadra abbia prevalso sull'altra di molti punti, però alla fine, il Pelacor Mercenary del mio avversario è riuscito ad arrivare a 5 punti di attacco melee e 8 di Health, che numericamente hanno superato le stats dei miei mostri in campo, portando il mio avversario alla vittoria.
