Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! - Lost Legendaries (ENG/ITA)

Good evening, Splinterlands friends!!!

When a Splinterlands player buys a new pack, we all know, the first hope that crosses their mind is to find a legendary card: usually, these types of cards are the most powerful, with the best stats and abilities for the same mana cost, and almost always, they are the most valued in the internal card market.

However, this does not mean that we should underestimate epic, rare, and common monsters, with which, by creating the right mix based on the ruleset we find, we can create formidable teams even against selections with many legendary cards.

And that is what we will see in this week's Battle Mage Secrets Challenge!!!

Lost Legendaries: with this ruleset, we cannot field legendary cards, but it's not a big problem because, if we have worked well in the market, we have properly boosted our common, rare, and epic cards, which, thanks to more affordable BCX prices, are much easier to bring to very high levels.

And these are the game rules:

A very low mana cap of 19, with Lost Legendaries and Odd ones out, which forces us to choose only odd-numbered cards: so in this challenge we are very limited, we can decide to fill all the spots with minor monsters, or bet everything on heavier cards.

And here is the battlefield:

I chose one of the most popular Soulbound summoners, Franz Ruffmane, which allows choosing Gladius monsters, and in fact, after fielding Chaos Agent in the tank position, I placed Marisol Contuma, a Gladius monster, followed by Venari Marksrat, which should help with its Martyr ability.

My opponent, instead, chose the Chaos Legion summoner named Thaddius Brood, trying to fill the highest number of spots in the team, starting with Pelacor Deceiver, followed by Venari Marksrat, Life Sapper, Soul Strangler, and, finally, Carrion Shade.

This time my strategy worked: I chose only 3 monsters, against my opponent's 5, but this time unity did not make strength, as my Gladius card, Marisol Contuma, thanks to the Bloodlust ability, continued to raise its stats, reaching 8 melee and 7 Health in the last round, annihilating one opponent monster after another.

Quando un giocatore di Splinterlands compra un pacchetto nuovo, lo sappiamo tutti, la prima speranza che passa nella sua testa è quella di trovare una carta leggendaria: di solito, questo tipo di carte sono le più performanti, con le stats e le abilità migliori, a parità di costo in mana, e , quasi sempre, sono quelle più quotate nel mercato interno delle carte.

Però, questo non vuol dire che dobbiamo sottovalutare i mostri epici, rari e comuni, con i quali, creando il giusto mix in base ai ruleset che troviamo, possiamo creare squadre temibili anche per selezioni con tante carte leggendarie.

Ed è quello che vedremo nel Battle Mage Secrets Challenge di questa settimana !!!

Lost Legendaries: con questo ruleset non possiamo schierare carte leggendarie, ma non è un grande problema, perchè ,se abbiamo lavorato bene sul mercato, abbiamo potenziato per bene le nostre carte comuni , rare e epiche, che, grazie ai prezzi per BCX più abbordabili, sono molto più facili da portare a livelli molto alti.

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

Un mana cap molto basso di 19, con Lost Legendaries e Odd ones out, che ci costringe a scegliere solo carte dispari: quindi in questa sfida siamo molto limitati, possiamo decidere di riempire tutte i posti con mostri minori, oppure puntare tutto su carte più pesanti.

Ed ecco il campo di battaglia:

Io ho scelto uno degli evocatori Soulbound più gettonati, Franz Ruffmane, che consente di scegliere anche mostri Gladius, e infatti, dopo aver schierato Chaos Agent in posizione tank, ho messo Marisol Contuma, mostro Gladius, seguito da Venari Marksrat, che dovrebbe aiutare con la sua abilità Martyr.

Il mio avversario, invece, ha scelto l'evocatore Chaos Legion di nome Thaddius Brood, cercando di riempire il più alto numero di posti in squadra, partendo da Pelacor Deceiver, seguito da Venari Marksrat, Life Sapper, Soul Strangler, e , per finire, Carrion Shade.

Questa volta la mia strategia ha funzionato: ho scelto solo 3 mostri, contro i 5 del mio avversario, ma questa volta l'unione non ha fatto la forza, in quanto la mia carta Gladius, ovvero Marisol Contuma, grazie all'abilità Bloodlust, ha continuato a innalzare le sue stats, fino ad arrivare, nell'ultimo round, a 8 di melee e 7 di Health, annientando un mostro avversario dopo l'altro.
