It will pay off

It's fine to think that we are running in circles because things don't seem to be different from last year's December, it's fine to think that we are behind, that we are late, and that we are a failure, but the truth remains that none of those things we think about ourselves are true because we are all on our own journey.

Each one of us journey is peculiar to the other and as such no more than one person is on the same journey. Yeah, maybe we could be on the same lane but the end result and the way to go about each of our journeys are different and peculiar to the other, so do me a favour and stop comparing yourself, stop comparing the chapter of your life to that of someone else's, stop comparing your current phase of life to that of another, they had to start somewhere too and may have come across that phase or chapter of life we are currently at but maybe in a different way.

Focus on your growth, and process, don't be worried about whether the growth is slow, as long as it is consistent and moving, let it be, you will get there, it is just a matter of time. Trust the process, it will pay off.

Maybe not now and how you want it to, but it will pay off when due, just keep on showing face and doing what you are required to do, focus on your niche, learn, unlearn and relearn, grow, and keep working, when the time is right, everything will come together for your good.

Just stop focusing on something that has no additional advantages to your growth, and try not to compare your journey with someone else's as simple as that sounds, I know it can be hard when you find your mates doing better, but focusing on those things instead of yourself can lead you astray.

Find something that you are good at and work on it, dedicate your time, effort, and strength to making it work, it will pay one day as long as it is worth your time. One day, you will be glad you focus more on something important with a big smile on your face.
