Saludos, hivers mamis y papis, espero que esta nueva semana sea de grandes logros para todos. El día de ayer celebramos en Venezuela el Día del Niño, desconozco si también la celebración se hizo en otro país, pero acá en el mío sé que la mayoría de los pequeños estaban festejando junto a sus padres y eso me trajo recuerdos muy hermosos de mi infancia, aunque en esa época no recuerdo tal celebración y si se hacía supongo que mis papás no tocaban el tema porque éramos nada más y nada menos que seis hermanos por lo que ellos no la tenían fácil, pero aun así todos tuvimos una hermosa niñez.
Greetings, hivers mommies and daddies, I hope this new week is of great achievements for all of you. Yesterday we celebrated Children's Day in Venezuela, I do not know if the celebration was also done in another country, but here in mine I know that most of the little ones were celebrating with their parents and that brought back beautiful memories of my childhood, although at that time I do not remember such a celebration and if it was done I guess my parents did not touch the subject because we were no more and no less than six brothers so they did not have it easy, but still we all had a beautiful childhood.
Lo cierto es que mis hijos ya están en la etapa de la adolescencia y como todos saben es un proceso bastante complicado, hay días en los que ellos quieren ser niños otros días quieren ser adultos y así vamos tratando de acoplarnos a toda esa nueva experiencia y emociones; sin embargo, tenemos en casa a mi sobrino Mateo David quien aún es niño y le encantan todas las festividades; él vive su etapa al máximo y quienes estamos en su entorno procuramos que así sea.
The truth is that my children are already in the stage of adolescence and as everyone knows it is a very complicated process, there are days when they want to be children, other days they want to be adults and so we try to adapt to all these new experiences and emotions; however, we have at home my nephew Mateo David who is still a child and loves all the festivities; he lives his stage to the fullest and those of us who are in his environment try to make it so.
El día inicio con una salida al centro de nuestra ciudad para realizar unas compras, ya que teníamos pensado preparar choripanes para el almuerzo, comida callejera que les encanta al trío fantástico de mi hogar, también teníamos en mente mi hermana y yo comprar para los muchachos obsequios, por lo que mis hijos Héctor y Cristian eligieron como regalo un par de chancletas cada uno y Mateo quien desde hace semanas estaba pidiendo las famosas crocs de colmillos aprovecho la ocasión para pedir su obsequio.
The day started with a trip to the center of our city to do some shopping, since we had planned to prepare choripanes for lunch, street food that the fantastic trio of my home loves, we also had in mind my sister and I to buy gifts for the boys, so my sons Hector and Cristian chose as a gift a pair of flip flops each and Mateo who for weeks was asking for the famous fangs crocs took the opportunity to ask for his gift.
Entramos en varias tiendas en busca de los regalos, así ellos vieran exactamente lo que querían y cada vez que entrabamos a una tienda, obsequiaban dulces a los chicos por el día festivo, detalle importante por parte de los comerciantes quienes hacen su aporte a la infancia en ese día tan especial para ellos, haciéndoles sentir importantes para la sociedad.
We went into several stores looking for gifts, so they could see exactly what they wanted and every time we entered a store, they gave candy to the children for the holiday, an important detail on the part of the merchants who make their contribution to children on this special day for them, making them feel important to society.
La compra para mis hijos fue más rápida, ya que ambas tallas se consiguen, el primero en comprar fue Héctor quien al ver las chancletas dijo de inmediato que eran esas las que quería, Cristian por su parte se tomó su tiempo escogiendo el color, material y modelo, cuando por fin eligió su par nos damos cuenta de que las dos piezas no eran del mismo número aun cuando estaban ya empaquetadas, así que volvimos al inicio, pero al final logramos encontrar la talla correcta.
The purchase for my sons was faster, since both sizes are available, the first one to buy was Hector who when he saw the flip flops said immediately that those were the ones he wanted, Cristian took his time choosing the color, material and model, when he finally chose his pair we realized that the two pieces were not the same size even when they were already packed, so we went back to the beginning, but in the end we managed to find the right size.
Para Mateo fue más difícil por la talla de su pie y también dada la demanda que existe en cuanto a las crocs que todos los pequeños desean usar por las figuras que poseen, no es fácil conseguir número 35 en calzado, por lo que tuvimos que caminar bastante en busca de las dichosas crocs de colmillos, anduvimos por todas las tiendas y no conseguimos nada así que lo dejamos para otro día ver si las tiendas que no abrieron tenían su talla, mientras tanto entramos a una tienda para realizar las últimas compras y para la suerte de Mateo allí se encontraba un grupo de jóvenes pinta caritas que le hicieron un diseño a su gusto, se trató de una linda lagartija en su rostro la cual lo hizo muy feliz.
For Mateo it was more difficult because of the size of his foot and also given the demand that exists in terms of the crocs that all the little ones want to use for the figures they have, it is not easy to get size 35 shoes, so we had to walk a lot in search of the said crocs of fangs, We walked around all the stores and we did not get anything so we left it for another day to see if the stores that did not open had his size, meanwhile we entered a store to make the last purchases and for Mateo's luck there was a group of young face painters that made him a design to his liking, it was a cute lizard on his face which made him very happy.
Su otra parte de la felicidad en la tienda fue cuando le obsequiaron un globo helicóptero y capturaron el momento a través de la fotografía y le comentaron que la subirían a la cuenta de Instagram del negocio, eso para él fue lo máximo, saber que sería famoso, que le darían muchos likes y la foto se convertiría en viral. Esa es una de las partes más hermosas de los niños, el sonar, creer que las cosas se pueden lograr con facilidad y ser personitas muy positivas.
His other part of happiness in the store was when they gave him a helicopter balloon and captured the moment through the photograph and told him that they would upload it to the store's Instagram account, that for him was the best, knowing that he would be famous, that they would give him many likes and the photo would become viral. That is one of the most beautiful parts of children, to sound, to believe that things can be achieved easily and to be very positive little people.
Cuando regresábamos a casa, vimos una tienda a la que no habíamos entrado y tarannn, encontramos las crocs de colmillos para Mateo, feliz el de poder usar su nueva adquisición, gruñendo toda la tarde y luciéndolas para mamá y papá, quienes le estuvieron haciendo videollamadas.
On our way home, we saw a store we hadn't entered and tarannn, we found the fang crocs for Mateo, happy to be able to wear his new acquisition, grunting all afternoon and showing them off for mom and dad, who were making video calls to him.
Al llegar la noche el trío recibió un obsequio de pizzas por parte de mi sobrino quien se encuentra en Perú, el papa de Mateo, eso completo el día porque a los tres les encanta la pizza, así que se dieron su gran banquete y Mateo quien es un niño muy expresivo, culmino diciendo que ese había sido su mejor día hasta el momento porque fue tratado como un príncipe en su palacio y el sentirse consentido lo hace muy feliz.

Este tipo de detalles son los que hacen la felicidad de un niño, dejarlos vivir su inocencia, dejarlos sonar, volar hasta llegar a descubrir el mundo real, somos nosotros los adultos responsables de ellos quienes estamos para hacer que sus días sean importantes y memorables, ver a nuestros retoños felices realmente no tiene precio, sin importar la edad que tengan nuestros hijos y sobrinos siempre serán nuestros niños.
