Saludos hivers amantes de las manualidades, a todos nos gusta leer y aun cuando practicamos la lectura a través de las redes sociales, siempre tenemos libros en casa para desconectarnos de todo lo que de alguna manera nos mantiene inquietos, pero no siempre terminamos de leer ese libro en un solo día y por lo menos yo soy muy olvidadiza como recordar en que página quede con la lectura. Por ello decidí darle solución a ese problema y crear un marca libro muy sencillo y práctico; como últimamente he estado muy relacionada con Stitch, elegí ese motivo para mi marca libros y créanme que es muy fácil de elaborar; además que los materiales no son nada del otro mundo.

Greetings hivers craft lovers, we all like to read and even when we practice reading through social networks, we always have books at home to disconnect from everything that somehow keeps us restless, but we do not always finish reading that book in a single day and at least I am very forgetful to remember what page I'm on with the reading. So I decided to give a solution to that problem and create a very simple and practical book mark; as lately I have been very related to Stitch, I chose that motif for my book mark and believe me it is very easy to make; plus the materials are not a big deal.

Todo, esta es querer hacer las cosas para que salga una creación realmente linda, por ello siempre hago mis presentaciones desde cero, mis hojas de colores las realizo yo misma porque es una manera más de desestresarme y concentrarme en algo que me gusta y me hace sentir bien, así que no hay escusas para este tipo de terapia ocupacional que muchos beneficios nos genera.

?I always make my presentations from scratch, I make my coloring sheets myself because it is one more way to de-stress and concentrate on something that I like and makes me feel good, so there are no excuses for this type of occupational therapy that generates many benefits for us.

Vamos a trabajar con un cuadrado en color azul de 14 centímetros, el cual doblaremos diagonalmente para que nos quede como un triángulo, luego tomamos las puntas laterales de ese triángulo para realizar un nuevo doblez, pero esta vez llevando ambas puntas hasta la punta superior y nos quedará formado un rombo.

We are going to work with a blue square of 14 centimeters, which we will fold diagonally so that it looks like a triangle, then we take the lateral points of that triangle to make a new fold, but this time taking both points to the upper point and we will have a rhombus.

Desplegar el papel y al hacerlo vemos como nos han quedado líneas marcadas, así que tomamos una de las puntas superiores y la bajamos hasta donde nos quedó la marca inferior del rombo y allí dejamos el papel.

Unfold the paper and when doing so we see how we have been marked lines, so we take one of the upper ends and lower it to where we left the lower mark of the rhombus and there we leave the paper.

En este paso, vamos a tomar una de las puntas laterales para introducirla en la especie de bolsillo que se creó en el centro de la pieza, repetimos el proceso con la otra punta; giramos y ya tenemos la primera parte de nuestro marca libro.

In this step, we are going to take one of the lateral tips and insert it into the pocket that was created in the center of the piece, repeat the process with the other tip; we turn and we have the first part of our book mark.

Como Stitch tiene forma más redonda en el rostro, lo que haremos es con la tijera, eliminar lo triangular, redondeando la parte de abajo, las puntas laterales y la superior.

As Stitch has a rounder shape on the face, we will use the scissors to eliminate the triangular part, rounding the bottom, the side tips and the top.

En un trozo de papel azul más claro cortamos lo que son los ojos, teniendo en cuenta que estos son más ovalados que redondos, también la parte negra de los ojos que esta sí va redonda; igual con la nariz en un papel azul más oscuro que el de la cara, a esta le hacemos dos marcas con un bolígrafo para determinar las fosas nasales.

In a piece of lighter blue paper we cut out the eyes, taking into account that these are more oval than round, also the black part of the eyes that is round; the same with the nose in a darker blue paper than the face, we make two marks with a pen to determine the nostrils.

Colocamos pega a las piezas que ya tenemos listas y unimos a la cara, lo otro es colocar la parte de la boca sobre el papel de color rojo para cortar una pieza, la cual vamos a unir con pega como se muestra en la segunda imagen.

We put glue to the pieces that we already have ready and join to the face, the other thing is to place the part of the mouth on the red paper to cut a piece, which we will join with glue as shown in the second image.

Aquí vamos a colocar dos círculos pequeños de color blanco sobre la parte negra de los ojos y también cortaremos lo que son los dientes, estos serán cuatro pequeños y cuatro un poco más grandes que luego uniremos con pega a la boca, en el labio superior e inferior.

Here we will place two small white circles over the black part of the eyes and we will also cut out the teeth, these will be four small ones and four a little bigger ones that we will glue to the mouth, on the upper and lower lip.

Para las orejas, tomamos papel del color azul que usamos para la cara y sacamos dos piezas y en el papel de color rosa dos piezas más, pero estas deben ser más pequeñas que las azules, las unimos con pega y luego cortamos en un borde para darle la forma que poseen las orejas de nuestro perro; y por último, cortamos lo que será el pequeño cabello de color azul y lo unimos en la cabeza, exactamente en la parte superior.

For the ears, we take paper of the blue color we used for the face and we take out two pieces and in the pink paper two more pieces, but these must be smaller than the blue ones, we join them with glue and then we cut on an edge to give it the shape that our dog's ears have; and finally, we cut what will be the small blue hair and we join it on the head, exactly on the top.
