¡Hola a todos! Tuve la oportunidad de conocer la Casa del Chocolate, lugar que me habían mencionado mucho desde que llegué a Chile. Me animé a ir un fin de semana para conocerla junto a mi mamá y mi hija Isabella.

La Casa del Chocolate está en la comuna de Maipú que también forma parte de la Región Metropolitana de Santiago. Esta casa es un sitio muy visitado por turistas. Cuando llegué, vi que había mucha gente y una fila larguísima para comprar las entradas y poder entrar. Además, no había un lugar donde estacionar el carro, pero como ya estábamos ahí no podíamos irnos. Luego de un buen rato, alguien nos cedió un puesto de estacionamiento. Logramos parquear el carro y nos pusimos a hacer la fila para comprar los boletos.

Duramos una hora para poder entrar a la casa del chocolate, ya que uno puede entrar es cuando sale un lote de personas. No les voy a negar que al ingresar me sorprendí, porque no era lo que yo me esperaba. Solo había vitrinas con chocolates importados para la venta. No era una casa de chocolate autóctona, pensé que viviría la experiencia de elaboración del chocolate grano por grano, ja, ja, ja. Me imaginé que sería como la casa de Willy Wonka, ¡qué ilusa! Por cierto, lo asimilé muy rápido y no duré ni tres minutos adentro.

Mi bebé se fastidió por la alta cantidad de gente y eso también fue una de las razones para salir de la casa más rápido. Tampoco había mucho que ver en el interior. Al salir por la parte trasera de la casa, vi que había una heladería y decidí ir con mi mamá y mi bebé hasta allí porque el ambiente se veía mucho mejor para compartir.

Luego compramos unas barquillas y nos sentamos a conversar. Al terminar de comernos los helados, nos pusimos a recorrer la casa para contemplarla. En ese momento vimos una fuente de monedas donde mi bebé decidió pedir un deseo. Fue un día agradable porque compartí con mi familia. Finalmente, decidimos regresar porque ya era tarde y no había más que hacer allí. Esto sería todo por hoy, nos vemos en una próxima publicación.

Hello everyone! I had the opportunity to visit the Casa del Chocolate, a place that had been mentioned to me a lot since I arrived in Chile. I decided to go for a weekend to visit it with my mom and my daughter Isabella.

La Casa del Chocolate is located in the commune of Maipú, which is also part of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago. This house is a very visited place by tourists. When I arrived, I saw that there were many people and a very long line to buy tickets to enter. In addition, there was no place to park the car, but as we were already there we could not leave. After a while, someone gave us a parking spot. We managed to park the car and we started to wait in line to buy the tickets.

It took us an hour to get into the chocolate house, since you can only get in when a lot of people leave. I will not deny that when I entered I was surprised, because it was not what I expected. There were only showcases with imported chocolates for sale. It was not an indigenous chocolate house, I thought I would live the experience of making chocolate bean by bean, ha, ha, ha, ha. I imagined it would be like Willy Wonka's house, how deluded! By the way, I took it in very quickly and didn't even last three minutes inside.

My baby was annoyed by the high crowds and that was also one of the reasons to get out of the house faster. There wasn't much to see inside either. On my way out the back of the house, I saw that there was an ice cream shop and decided to go with my mom and baby all the way there because the atmosphere looked much better for sharing.

Then we bought some ice cream bars and sat down to talk. When we finished eating the ice cream, we started to walk around the house to contemplate it. At that moment we saw a coin fountain where my baby decided to make a wish. It was a nice day because I shared with my family.
