El día del padre se acerca y si bien se les debería reconocer su valor todo el año, no quería quedarme sin participar en esta bonita iniciativa, en esta ocasión les hablaré sobre mi padre ya que no tengo abuelos ni tíos y mi padre se merece todo lo mejor por todo su esfuerzo, su amor y el apoyo que me ha brindado.

Father's Day is approaching and although their value should be recognized throughout the year, I did not want to miss out on this beautiful initiative, this time I will talk about my father because I have no grandparents or uncles and my father deserves all the best for all his effort, love and support he has given me.

Mi padre tiene actualmente casi 60 años y aún me sorprende lo rápido que han pasado los años cuando apenas ayer estaba en la escuela y mi papá tenía 40 años 🥺, mi papá es un hombre de pocas palabras jajaja, desde pequeña al momento de despertar cuando él estaba en casa recuerdo que siempre estaba cantando sus hits como decimos mis hermanas y yo jajaja, siempre se inventaba alguna letra y nos levantaba de esa manera (aún lo hace).

My dad is currently almost 60 years old and it still amazes me how fast the years have gone by when just yesterday I was in school and my dad was 40 years old 🥺, my dad is a man of few words hahaha, since I was little when I woke up when he was home I remember he was always singing his hits as my sisters and I say hahaha, he would always make up some lyrics and wake us up that way (he still does).

Es un amante de los dulces, por lo que sí uno revisaba sus pantalones había alguna bolsa de chocolate o caramelos 😂, también le encanta comer así que creo que eso lo heredé de él, pero obviamente no le llego a los talones ya que mientras yo puedo tardar minutos el come en segundos.

He is a candy lover, so if one checked his pants there was some bag of chocolate or candy 😂, he also loves to eat so I think I inherited that from him, but obviously I am not up to his heels since while I can take minutes he eats in seconds.

Les mencioné que era un hombre de pocas palabras, pero siempre sabe qué decir, cómo aconsejarnos, y sobretodo su apoyo siempre ha estado presente, me siento demasiado afortunada cuando les digo que cuento con una fuente de apoyo de parte de ambos, por que si les dijera que quiero ser una princesa ellos son los primeros en alentarme jajaja (si es algo bueno y no dañino o mal claro está).

I mentioned that he was a man of few words, but he always knows what to say, how to advise us, and above all his support has always been present, I feel very fortunate when I tell them that I have a source of support from both of them, because if I told them that I want to be a princess they are the first to encourage me hahaha (if it is something good and not harmful or bad of course).

Su infancia no fue para nada fácil, y sin embargo siempre nos comenta que quería algo diferente para su familia desde que mi mamá le anunció el primer embarazo. Algo que recuerdo muy bien es que él era el primero en abrir los regalos en diciembre para nosotros jjajaja, se emocionaba más que nosotros y ese es un recuerdo tan bonito que aún lo llevo presente.

His childhood was not easy at all, and yet he always tells us that he wanted something different for his family since my mom announced her first pregnancy. Something I remember very well is that he was the first one to open the presents in December for us hahahaha, he was more excited than us and that is such a nice memory that I still carry it with me.

Podría extenderme demasiado contándoles las historias de mi padre, pero para finalizar les diré que es un hombre increíble y que todos los días lo tengo en mente. Me gustaría invitar a @glowshine a qué se una, así que nos estamos leyendo amigos!

I could go on for too long telling you stories about my dad, but in closing I will tell you that he is an amazing man and he is on my mind every day. I'd like to invite @glowshine to join me, so we'll be reading each other friends!
