I do believe that every human on earth does have a regret in life regarding a decision they once made.

I'm of the school of thought that a person shouldn't be tied because of his inactions in the past rather he should work on himself to become better but there are some decisions we take that we can't simply move on from no matter how much hard we try.

The inaction I won't recover from is breaking a friendship of six years. During my six years in secondary school, I had a friend who goes by the name Rachel after our final exams, I and Rachel had a dispute and she was in the wrong. I was so pissed that I refused to communicate with her even when she called me at home.

During graduation, our peers were surprised that Rachel wasn't present and everyone inquire about her whereabouts from me since we were close but I had no clue. I later paid a visit to her residence and her landlady told me that Rachel and two brothers(her only family, they lost their parents at a young age) relocated to a different town. I took her elder brother's phone number from the landlady but all efforts to reach him proves to be disavailed.

Up to date, I'm yet to hear from Rachel, I tried looking for her on different social media platforms but I'm yet to get any positive response.
I wished my anger didn't make me lose my last moments with my friend, wherever Rachel is I hope she is doing well.

Thanks for stopping by.
