Literary Exploration - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I've always been interested in the video essay format on YouTube, using stock footage and fair use of copyrighted video.
So I did some experiments, choosing a video editor, looking for footage, finding music, writing the script, and doing the voice-over.
For me, the voice-over part was the most challenging. I don't have confidence in my own voice. But luckily, nowadays there are text-to-speech technologies like ElevenLabs, which has a really good library of great voices!
So, here is one of my experiments: a video essay exploring the literary classic "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.
Video editor: capcut (super easy to use with many cool effects and transitions).
I used some footage from:
- Pride and Prejudice adaptation by BBC (1995)
- Trailer of Bride and Prejudice
- Trailer of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Background music using free copyright music from YouTube audio library.
It's been a fun experiment.
I also posted this on my YouTube Channel. Please subscribe :)
Cheers!
