My cats relaxing and so am I

Somehow spending the day in peace swaying in a hammock on a Saturday produces a certain level of relaxation even more so seeing the behavior of the little cats in the house.

Meme is upset about something I haven't quite figured out yet. He has that look that says it all...

"Can't you see I'm upset?"

I don't understand what's wrong with him. He likes to be held and cuddled but today it's not the case. Something has attracted their gaze, both my son and the kitten are interested in something moving in the garden. I just sway in my hammock and don't plan to get up. I take pictures and nothing else.

Meanwhile, my dear Copito has also gotten up and gone straight to observe what is making noises in the garden. I guess it's another feline that has come to pick a fight with my little ones.

Copito just wants to sleep, all day he rests and likes my rocking chairs in the living room and seems to be attracted to the rocking chair I like best for sitting and reading.

The only thing my Copito does all day is eat and sleep of course, apart from being curious when strangers are in the garden. Copito has already lost a lot of his claws and his teeth. He only has one fang and a few molars left because they have already fallen out. I think he has lost them in so many fights he had in his youth.

Poor thing, my old man is getting more and more tired and you can see in his face that he is wrinkled in his periocular spaces. With less fur and less neatness, he can hardly groom himself on the back of his head anymore and always has a dark spot on his white coat.

It makes me sad to think that we are getting older and more tired. I remember he used to accompany me in the garden and now he has changed his habit to sleep in the rocking chair.

Just as we older people get tired, so do the beautiful older kitties. I hope he will continue to accompany me a little more in my swaying in my hammock on Saturdays during the day.
