A picture is worth a thousand words - Imagining is part of a dream

I have always liked movies about pirates and treasures, of course only the fantasy ones because I don't like the actual pirates at all.

Childhood movies like Peter Pan took us to fly in thought about all the beautiful things that are managed to be seen there in the film and the good energies that are transmitted to our brain which was very pleasant. It is what always happens, evil is always defeated by good. Although in real life many times it doesn't happen that way at least in the movies they leave a good memory.

Movies like the Pirates of the Caribbean series fascinated me because of the masterful participation of all its actors. With scenes that occurred in a fortuitous way and in a way established beforehand that were there for our imagination. I like the movies with Captain Jack Sparrow, I like them so much that I watch them again after a certain time of having seen them for the first time, and then again and again in time.

The movie where they find the great treasure and where many scenes occur that let the imagination fly between the possible and the impossible is great. It's all in the mind that has no limits. As I have such an imaginative mind just watching the movie I go to the place and I am another one of the protagonists.

I imagined that I was there but that I would not choose a huge precious stone but a small and very shiny one. To be able to keep it well without the risk of being stolen and persecuted for it.

How many things do I imagine when watching these movies? I don't know if it happens the same to other people because I have never asked but I would like to know now. I don't know if I'm the only one who fantasizes about being a character in those fantasy movies or on the contrary, it's everyone who like me loves movies about good pirates.

I would not go for the big and expensive items either. My first thought would be: how to sell it. One cannot pay with a crown.

I loved and still like the comic 'Redbeard' but never really liked animations or films about pirates.

Yes, you are right. Thinking about selling too big a jewel would be a big problem rather than a help.
I've seen that red beard movie and loved it too.

Isn't it interesting how tales and movies managed to romanticise a bunch of criminals?

Thanks for joining pic1000. 👍
