Top 5 of the best Anime movies and series about AI [ESP / ENG]
Greetings dear Geeks. I want to share with you a particular list, which contains my top 5 favorite anime series and movies, whose stories are based on artificial intelligence.
Saludos estimados Geeks. Quiero compartir con ustedes una lista particular, que contiene mis 5 series y películas favoritas del anime, cuyas historias están basadas en la inteligencia artificial.
Little by little, we have seen how drones, robot dogs, humanoids, among others, are becoming more and more common in our societies, and we never imagined that what we saw a few decades ago in movies and series could materialize so fast. What we considered science fiction is now a concept that is part of our everyday life.
Throughout this journey many comic book authors were creating in the minds of children and young people futuristic stories with robots defending the earth and other travelers in space. However, of this range of superheroes, very few dared to show robots with the appearance of people, suggesting touches of sensitivity that resembled human beings themselves. This desire of ours to create an intelligence in all senses, similar to us, has been materialized in animation.
A lo largo de este recorrido muchos autores del comic fueron creando en las mentes de los niños y jóvenes historias futuristas con robots que defienden la tierra y otros viajeros en el espacio. Sin embargo, de esta gama de super héroes fueron muy pocos los que se atrevieron a mostrar a los robots con aspecto de personas, que sugirieran toques de sensibilidad que asemejaban a los propios seres humanos. Ese deseo nuestro de crear una inteligencia en todos los sentidos, semejantes a nosotros la hemos materializado en la animación.
Of course, the variety of these types of stories has been increasing, where the protagonist is a type of artificial intelligence, or can also be the main villain. That's why I want to share below the list of my top 5 anime series and movies that talk about AI:
Por supuesto que la variedad de este tipo de historias ha ido aumentando, donde el protagonista es un tipo de inteligencia artificial, o puede ser también el villano principal. Por eso quiero compartir a continuación la lista de mis 5 series y películas del anime que hablan de IA:
1) STAY WITH ME DORAEMON

Sewashi is an inhabitant of the 22nd century who watches his great-great-grandfather Nobita from the past every day as he fails in his life. That's why he decides to travel to the past taking with him Doraemon, a robotic cat whom he orders to help Nobita's fool. Sewashi modifies Doraemon's nose so that he can return to the future if and only if Nobita can secure a better future. The plot unfolds between the bonds of friendship between Nobita and Doraemon and how in the end he fulfills his mission and they have a very touching farewell.
Sewashi es un habitante del siglo XXII quien observa todos los días a su tatarabuelo Nobita del pasado como fracasa en su vida. Por eso decide viajar al pasado llevando consigo a Doraemon, un gato robótico a quien ordena ayudar al tonto de Nobita. Sewashi modifica la nariz de Doraemon para que pueda volver al futuro si y sólo si Nobita pueda asegurarse un mejor futuro. La trama se desenvuelve entre los lazos de amistad entre Nobita y Doraemon y cómo al final cumple con su misión y les toca una muy emotiva despedida.
2) CASSHERN SINS

This series tells the story of how robots have dominated humans for many years. Within the plot appears Luna, a girl who offers hope to humanity, but for the robots is a great threat, so they send their 3 best warriors led by Casshern who kills her, causing a kind of beginning of the end of the world.
Esta serie cuenta la historia de cómo los robots ya han dominado a los humanos por muchos años. Dentro de la trama aparece Luna, una chica que ofrece la esperanza a la humanidad, pero para los robots es una gran amenaza, por la que envía a sus 3 mejores guerreros encabezados por Casshern quien la asesina, ocasionando una especie de inicio del fin del mundo.
After many years the atmosphere is poisoned, which causes the deterioration of the mechanical parts of the robots. The scarce resources cause the robots to fight among themselves, so that the strongest stand out over the weakest. At this point, humans are on the verge of total extinction as they are unable to reproduce. At this point Casshern returns, a little more aware and humble to discover his purpose in the world.
Luego de muchos años la atmosfera está envenenada, lo que produce el deterioro de las partes mecánicas de los robots. Los escasos recursos, hacen que los robots luchen entre ellos, por lo que los más fuertes destacan sobre los más débiles. En este punto, los seres humanos están a punto de su total extinción ya que no pueden reproducirse. En este punto vuelve Casshern, un poco más consiente y humilde para descubrir su propósito en el mundo.
3) PLASTIC MEMORY

It is a story that takes place in the future where humans and robots coexist in perfect harmony. Its protagonist Tsukasa Mizugaki has just graduated from high school and starts working in the "End of Service" department of SAI Corporation, the most important artificial intelligence company, responsible for the creation of Giftias, which are androids capable of understanding and feeling human emotions, however, they can live only 81,920 hours, in other words: 9 years and 4 months.
Es una historia que se desarrolla en el futuro donde los humanos y robots conviven en perfecta armonía. Su protagonista Tsukasa Mizugaki se acaba de graduar de la secundaria e inicia a trabajar en el departamento de “Fin de Servicio” de la Corporación SAI, empresa más importante de inteligencia artificial, responsable de la creación de Giftias, que son androides capaces de comprender y sentir las emociones humanas, sin embargo, pueden vivir sólo 81.920 horas, en otras palabras: 9 años y 4 meses.
Together with Tsukasa, Isla (a Giftia) is found, where they soon establish a friendly relationship and later transform into something else closer to the 3 months of their expiration. The anime has a very good sense of humor from the beginning, but its plot confronts us with the inevitable death of our loved ones and enjoying life to the fullest.
Junto con Tsukasa, se encuentra Isla (una Giftia), donde pronto se establece una relación de amistad y posteriormente se transforma en algo más cerca de los 3 meses de su caducidad. El anime tiene un muy buen sentido del humor desde su inicio, pero su trama nos enfrenta a la inevitable muerte de nuestros seres queridos y a disfrutar la vida a plenitud.
4) TIME OF EVE

Eve no Jikan is a movie that shows the Japan of the future, where androids fulfill many functions that help humans. The story revolves around a high school student named Sakisaka Rikou. One day she discovers strange behavior from her robot "Sammy" on the routine walk home. Telling this to his friend Masaki, they set out to find out what happened. There they discover a small secret Café "Eve no Jikan" that the robot has been visiting for a long time.
Eve no Jikan es una película donde se muestra al Japón del futuro, donde los androides cumplen muchas funciones que ayudan a los seres humanos. La historia gira en torno a una estudiante de secundaria llamada Sakisaka Rikou. Un día descubre un comportamiento extraño de su robot “Sammy” en la rutina de regreso a casa. Al contarle esto a su amigo Masaki, se proponen averiguar lo sucedido. Allí descubren un pequeño Café secreto “Eve no Jikan” al que el robot ha estado visitando durante mucho tiempo.
In this Café, there is no distinction between humans and androids, so Rikuo will gradually change his point of view towards androids and begins to treat Sammy as a friend. At the same time of all this discovery, an "Ethics" Committee is being developed in Japan to reduce the use of androids by mankind. These moral conflicts that are presented to us are part of the plot of this movie.
En este Café, no hay distinción entre humanos y androides, por lo que Rikuo poco a poco irá cambiando su punto de vista para con los androides y empieza a tratar a Sammy como a un amigo. A la par de todo este descubrimiento, en Japón se está desarrollando un Comité de “Ética” que pretende disminuir el uso de androides por la humanidad. Estos conflictos morales que se nos presentan son parte de la trama de esta película.
5) HAL

Hal is a movie that starts with a couple of boyfriend and girlfriend: Kurumi and Hal. Suddenly in a plane crash Hal dies. The affected Kurumi product of sadness and grief for the lmanetable loss of her boyfriend, is isolated in a small house. This situation prompts Kurumi's grandfather to ask for the help of the humanoid robot named Q01.
Hal es una película que inicia con una pareja de novios: Kurumi y Hal. Repentinamente en un accidente de avión Hal fallece. La afectada Kurumi producto de la tristeza y el dolor por la lmanetable pérdida de su novio, se aisla en una pequeña casa. Esta situación provoca que el abuelo de Kurumi pida la ayuda del robot humanoide que lleva por nombre Q01.
Q01 takes on the appearance of Hal to help Kurumi out of her confinement situation. She at first does not want to see Q01, but gradually begins to give in and interact with this Hal, who holds a secret. Both of them will learn a great lesson between the relationship that can exist between a human being and a humanoid robot.
Q01 toma la apariencia de Hal para ayudar a Kurumi a salir de su situación de encierro. Ella en un principio no quiere ver a Q01, pero poco a poco comienza a ceder y a interactuar con este Hal, quien guarda un secreto. Ambos aprenderán una gran lección entre la relación que puede existir entre un ser humano y un robot humanoide.
