I slept quite early on Saturday night and I woke up again at 1 am to several missed calls from my mom and it got me worried and I couldn't wait till morning before putting a call across to her.

I called her immediately and she said, "I wanted to say hello. I was busy throughout the day and I couldn't reach any of you, I spoke to your brothers already and they told me you are asleep. I am coming home today, I miss you all.

In between the conversation, she was worried about why I slept so early because it is very unusual of me. The relationship my mom built in the family is rare, it is hard for us to go 12 hours without the five of us communicating with each other either by call or text.

Our conversation brightened my mood and I felt this spark of happiness after talking to her. I guess she was feeling the same way too, we are kind of all emotionally attached. I thought about her and my siblings, and I won't deny the fact that they have made life really beautiful for me.

The beautiful things of life.

Our perspectives about beauty are different which is very understandable, we are built to see things from different angles.

When I say a lady is beautiful, I might be referring to her facial look and it could be what her body looks like to someone else. We have a different perspectives about things and I respect that a lot.

When I was younger, I had a different perspective on the beautiful things in life and as I grew, I realized there was more to it than just material things. Money, Luxury houses, Cars, and Vacations make life beautiful but there is more to the beauty of life than these things.

I realized that it is only when some things about us are in order that we can actually refer to material things as part of the beautiful things of life. After thinking about them critically, I came up with a list of things that I believe are the most beautiful things in my life.

Freedom

I have seen people underestimate the importance of freedom and they definitely won't know its worth until they lost it. I believe that once a man loses his freedom, he or she has lost every other thing and throughout that period, the beautiful material things don't matter.

I was fourteen when I realized the value of freedom and I will for no reason toy or trade it for anything. Having my freedom is one of the most beautiful things in life and I cherish that a lot.

Family

I have always been a family person from childhood, we live like the croods, and many times, I can't imagine what life will look like without them.

Having my family around is something I have always wanted and if I have my way, I will get hectares of land for us to live in so we don't have to break apart when life demands growth and space. My mom and siblings are my best friends, and they have put so much effort into making life beautiful for me.

They are definitely among my beautiful things in life, I love them so much.

Good health

Having good health is a real-life beauty and anyone who has gone through one health challenge before would always place priority on their health.

When you are healthy, you have hope and that's beautiful. I admire people who still choose to enjoy life despite having health challenges, they are the ones who can tell us better why having good health is truly the beauty of life.

Love

Love is a beautiful thing and it definitely adds up to the beautiful things in life. Being able to love reminds me of my existence in the world and I believe it does remind everyone as well.

This isn't about romance or intimacy, it has to do with how I treat the people around me. It makes me happy when I can do certain things for the people around me, I feel really good about that. It involves my relationship though and I am lucky to have the most beautiful woman in the world. My friends are not exempted, having a good friend adds up to the beauty of life.

The good and bad experiences.

There is a good and bad side to life, we can't deny the fact that we all have gone through a thin and thick moments in life. We faced challenges and conquered, there are beautiful moments we want to live in forever but somehow, life sets in to cut the moment short and here we are still living.

Somehow, the scars I have had in life turn out to be a beauty because there is a beautiful ending or an important lesson from each. My life is nothing close to perfect but I have kept my head high thFamily

Life is indeed beautiful but not many of us will admit it. People get pissed at the saying because they don't place value on the real beauties of life.

Our hard work will pay off someday and we will have enough to take care of ourselves but what will be the happiness of life when we have lost its real beauty?
