Success At Last.

"Reality is completely different from what played in our heads as kids, everyone had the vision of becoming this and that until we understood the true definition of life. Some people were able to achieve everything they wanted as a kid and it was the opposite for many kids out there," George paused his writing as the noise from his neighbour's flat continued disturbing his quiet time.

"What kind of people are these?" He grumbled as he thought of going to caution them but as soon as he stepped out of his room, he remembered what happened the last time.

The music was loud around 10 pm some months back and when he complained, the noisy tenants mocked him about owing some rent.

"The landlord must have shared my little secret with these people," George thought on that fateful day.

He went back to his room and tried to continue his write up but attaining the level of concentration he needed to write was impossible so he decided to hang out with his friends a few blocks away from his place.

Upon arrival, his friends were heading out.

"Hey, George. Mr Mark needs us to wash his garage," Daniel said to him immediately exchanging pleasantries.

"Really, that would be cool? Can I come with you guys?" George asked.

The guys looked at each other and told him to join them. They arrived at the place and they swung into action immediately. Everyone got a portion to wash and while doing his job, he felt sad that he had to depend on jobs like that despite graduating with a good result from the university.

After 3 hours of washing and hard scrubbing, they finished and everyone got paid except George.

"What about me?" He asked the garage owner who claimed he spoke to only three of them and there was an agreement.

His friends told him not to make it an issue and they raised some cash for him.

George was disappointed, what he thought would feed him throughout the day couldn't be enough for one meal.

He went back home angrily with different thoughts running through his mind. George passed through the lottery shop in his area and thought of playing with the money.

It was his first, he didn't understand how it was played and after watching how it's been done, he used the little money his friend contributed for him.

He arrived home some minutes later and regretted not eating with the money. He checked his cupboard and found some cassava flakes which he drank before returning to his writeup.

Days passed and George continued struggling to make ends meet for himself. He wanted to do his laundry when he saw the lottery papers in his pocket and threw it away angrily.

The thoughts of how he starved out of anger that day still pissed him off. He hissed and turned away in the direction of the lottery paper.

Home became boring and George took a stroll. On his way back, he stumbled into one of the people who played the same game as him.

The guy thanked him for helping him win and even gave George some tokens. Reality dawned on him that he won but wasn't aware.

George ran back home to pick up the paper but it wasn't there. He noticed the compound had been swept so he went to check the compound waste bin but it had been emptied by the waste guys.

"Which direction did the truck go?" He asked the shop owner outside his compound and she pointed in the direction.

George ran as fast as he could and caught up with the truck. He recognized their waste bag and pulled it out of the truck.

Everyone thought he was crazy and didn't even bother about the noise they were making. Luckily for him, the lottery papers were sitting at the top of the waste bag.

He took it and sped off to the lottery shop only to meet the place locked.

George asked around and was told that the shop owner was celebrating his birthday and took the staff out for dinner. He left the place and guided the lottery papers with his life.

All through the night, he kept thinking about what he was going to do with the money. The exotic life he had always dreamt of kept coming to his mind he couldn't stop smiling.

George arrived at the shop past 6 a.m. the next morning and waited until the place was open. After the cashier confirmed his papers, he was given a cheque of a life-changing sum and George couldn't help but break down into tears.

He didn't believe he would win such an amount of money from playing the lottery. For about two days, he couldn't take a dime out of the money. He kept planning and planning until he finally made up his mind.

George invested in landed properties and also expanded his farm to over ten acres of land. He ventured into crop farming and cattle in addition to his fish farming. He had knowledge about crypto but couldn't invest before but with his win, he gathered more knowledge and went in heavily.

He started a self-sustainable NGO to help children have access to good education and a health care system. George was able to fulfil many of his dreams and it was the beginning of greatness for
him.

George is really good person by heart as he started NGO for the society's humble class.
Moreover, it's sounds really good plan to invest in farming and properties.

George was not lucky with his noisy neighbours but was lucky to use his small earnings to but a winning lottery ticket. It is great that he found the lottery ticket even if others thought he weas crazy. He certainly used the prize in a very philanthropic manner.

That was so creative story with this topic, really nice. Sometimes, people are just lucky with little things just like in the case of George here. Even though he got nothing from the job he did with his friends but see how the little cash contributed for him brought about a life changing opportunity. Luck really shine on him and for his to take days in planning on how to use the money is very smart, finally he made a great plan with the lottery money.

Thanks for participating ✅
