My Holozing Update and Simple Background Craft.

I hope it's not too late to wish the members of the Holozing community a happy new year. It's been over two weeks since I shared my progress as part of the Holozing project lovers and today just felt like the perfect day because it is a special one for me.

In the past few weeks, a lot has happened regarding the Holozing game. The Background Contest Winners were announced, The Other Healers & Starters Pack, The Lite-paper Update and many others that keep fueling our anticipation for the awesome Holozing. 2024 is the year and we are excited about the launch.

I would like to thank @Holozing for the Holiday Bonus I got a few days ago, honestly getting rewards like that is one of the best ways to start the new year. I got 28 Zing as a result of checking into the Holozing website and claiming the bonus 28 times in December.

The benefit of the regular visit to claim the daily reward on the Holozing website doesn't end with the 28 Zing I received, I am excited to know that I am getting a 28% discount on my first Starter Pack and Healer purchase on Hive-engine when the sale starts later this year. I felt bad that I missed 3 days but it's all good because that 28% is a whole lot to me.

I already registered and linked my account to Reddit earlier today so I just have to start sharing Hive links on Reddit. This is an amazing way of promoting Hive and I am sure many Reddit users can get to see the fantastic things happening in this great community Hive

Thankfully, my staked Zing keeps increasing every day and even though it isn't much, I am happy to be part of this awesome project.

At the moment, I have 2k Zing staked and I look forward to increasing the number.

My delegation is still the same and I still have my POSH token intact.

They are all automatically helping my Zing stake increase which is awesome.

While the background contest was on, I really wanted to participate but my designing skills were not enough to come up with what was playing in my head. Every effort to come up with something on Canva didn't work out so yesterday I needed something to play with and Holozing came to my mind.

If I can't design for the contest, I can do something for the love of Holozing so I got some materials.

Cardboard (Yellow & Blue)
Gum
Carton
Watercolour

I started by cutting out a rectangular shape from the carton that will serve as the background.

I also cut out the same rectanglar shape on the blue cardboard as well.

I applied gum on the carton and spread it all over the surface before placing the blue cardboard cut out on the carton and ensure it stays properly.

What I really had in mind was a beach background so I cut out another triangle from the yellow cardboard, it's the same width as the carton but shorter in length.

It would represent the sky and to make it look cool, I made a design at one end of the small rectanglar shape and attached it to the top back of the carton (Background)

I cut out a circle(blue cardboard) for the sun, I have always believed there is no perfect view of the beach without the sun.

I also use some tiny pieces of cardboard for the ray, Can you feel the heat?

I went on to add palm trees to the background and it was perfect. I love the beach and the view gives me this happy feeling all the time.

I used watercolor to put dots on the blue cardboard, I don't have any reason for that though but it's cool.

After completing the design, I took it to Canva where I used it as background and just placed the Water whale creature on it.

I brought the Water whale to the background and removed the background.

I just expanded the Water Whale creature to fit well on the background.
