Madrid disappointment might be blessing in disguise.
Real Madrid seems to be desperate to me, the Mbappe transfer blow came to them as a shock. They weren't expecting the turn down from the French forward, it was supposed to be a done deal because the Club president has been in talks with the Paris Saint-German forward and we were only expecting the deal to be sealed.
The hype was much, and the Real Madrid fans couldn't wait to see him at the Santiago Bernabeu but the unexpected happened. The French forward rejected Madrid's offer and renewed his contract which cost PSG over £500m, isn't that much?
The spending by the clubs these days would make every human dream of playing football, it is not what we usually see many years back. Everything is about money, the team with the biggest portfolio usually secures the signatures of the big names. I believe Mbappe knew he wasn't going to join Madrid and he intentionally stalled till the last minute, I respect his decision about staying in the French league to help it develop but he made them miss out on challenging City to get the signature of Haaland who could have been a perfect replacement for their target.
Aurélien Tchouaméni is the next on Madrid's radar, Monaco is asking for £80m which doesn't look fine to the club. I don't see any reason why they should complain because they haven't spent half of what they had prepared for Mbappe even though, they have indirectly revealed to the world that they can get whatever they want with money, and since that didn't work for Mbappe, every club has the right to have a good bite of the Madrid's wealth.
The Monaco midfielder has been awesome for the French club but will he blend into the team immediately? No player is guaranteed to hit the ground immediately after they join the club which doesn't exclude Mbappe, what has been Hazard impact on the team in the last few years? Would they have signed him if they knew that injuries would hinder him from contributing to the team success?
Madrid needs to start blending the young lad in the team who understands the team pattern already while they also bring in fresh legs, Modric and Benzema won't be strong forever. The likes of Camavinga and Rodrygo will definitely have a positive impact on the team in the nearest future if allowed to mix with the likes of Benzema and Modric because they will definitely learn a lot from them. If the big names are the requirements for UCL then Paris Saint-German should be in every final for about 2-3 seasons now but that's not happening and they think Mbappe will make what difference for the club?
PSG has more big names than Real Madrid but where has that landed them? Madrid are currently preparing to play in the final of the UCL and the same boys they aren't paying attention to have taken them to the final in Paris
I am not disputing the fact that they don't need new signings but they don't need to break the bank or become bitter because a player turned them down. The club is big and will attract quality players, Bale and Isco's experience with the club is enough to scare big names off so why not work more on the players you have at hand first.
While they are going nuts about who to bring on board, I wonder what hope they giving to Rodrygo. Real Madrid missing out on Mbappe or Haaland's deal might be a blessing in disguise, it was a perfect opportunity for them to develop Rodrygo into the Mbappe they want.
The Brazilian isn't getting playing time and has been a key instrument to the club's success in the Uefa Champions League, I keep wondering what he will achieve if he was given enough time to grow to the regular standard the club wants.
Camavinga is another utility player, we have seen him take over midfield against the big boys. The club can help him develop into the future Modric, he has a lot to offer but needs to have enough time to show what they are capable of.
It still isn't certain who is coming into the club but if they continue to show too much desperation toward players then it might be a huge issue which includes spending too much and also hindering the young talent in the club from growing.
Nice one, but if you really watch Rodrigo's matches, you should know that he's not a full time player, that's why Ancelotti prefers to bring him in as a sub and he has proved to be a super sub.
The few matches he played as a starter showed his low strength for full match.

It's a blessing in disguise for Madrid as they won't have to spend so much while also giving other young players the chance to grow. PSG just ruined their dressing room with that action and it's a matter of years before it would tell.
The team is not United and the board aren't doing anything about it, Mbappe coming to Madrid might even come and divide the team like they are doing in PSG. It would be best if they secure the Monaco midfielder signature and move on.
They have no choice than to move on but PSG would suffer for this player power thing.
If the arrival of Chaumena to Real Madrid, the team will be ready for the next stage Casimiro and Modric and kroos
The presence of Chwamini will reduce Camavinga's defensive duties and will go more forward... and considering Valverde's important roles.. it will be a new integrated and evolving trio
That's true, the likes of Modric and Casemiro are not getting younger. The Monaco midfielder will help them on a long term.
