A visit to NEOXIAN City.

I was preparing my morning coffee when a vehicle stopped in front of my building.

"Am I expecting someone?", I asked myself as I walk towards the window and before I could raise the window blind completely the vehicle zoomed off.

It was the mailman, he probably came to drop something off quickly. I went straight to my mailbox to see what was so urgent that he had to drop it off so early instead of the usual evening delivery.

I was curious and you can tell from how quickly I walked. I got to my box and found a small envelope but it was heavy. I carefully opened the envelope and it turned out to be a shining coin.

It had the word NEOXAG on it, I had no clue what it was and fortunately for me, the sender left a note in the envelope.

"Your request to visit Neoxian City is under process and you are one step away from getting your request granted. To complete your approval, you must have more head than tail after flipping the coin thrice"

I read the instructions carefully again to be sure I didn't miss anything and while reading, another part of me was trying to remember when I applied for a visit to that city.

"Did the mailman drop this at the wrong address? Could this be a scam?", different questions kept popping into my head as I stare at the coin.

This coin could be worth a fortune but I don't know why it was delivered to me.

I got a call from my manager at work shortly after I got in, I was reluctant to pick it up since it was weekend but I couldn't do that because he is a good man.

"Hello George", he cleared his throat.

"Happy weekend, Mr. Vickoly", I responded.

"Thanks for reminding me it's the weekend", he said jokingly.

"Did you get the NEOXAG coin?", he asked.

"I did and how did know about this boss?", I asked.

He laughed and replied,"it was you who wanted to visit the land of the genius, the happiest place in the world so I helped you".

Mr. Vickoly is a funny man so I thought it was one of those games he plays with his workers.

"Don't forget to flip the coin, I wish you success", he ended the call.

He sounded serious so I went to get the coin and flipped it immediately.

I got a tail, a head, and another head.

After the three flips, the coin glowed even in broad daylight.

My phone rang again but it wasn't Mr. Vickoly this time.

"Good day George, this is Monogrow. Congratulations on getting two heads", the caller's voice got me crushing on whoever was at the other end of the phone.

She continued,"if you are still willing to visit us, follow the navigation sent to your device to the place marked X".

I was about to ask questions when she hung up.

I looked around the house to be sure someone wasn't watching me because I didn't tell anyone if I got two heads or not.

I called Mr. Vickoly and all he told me was,"good luck man".

"I am not going anywhere", I told myself as I threw the coin on the sofa.

I went to the kitchen to make breakfast and while cooking, I thought about a lot of things.

"Should I go or not", I was bothered and lost my appetite after cooking. I tried watching a movie and playing some games but none helped me to put the thoughts away.

Finally, I decided to go, I packed a few things and followed the navigation sent to me.

I got there and it was bigger than what I was expecting. Other people wanted to visit the City as well so I felt good to an extent.

We boarded a jet, the journey was smooth and sweet. I got to interact with the few others on board and everyone had a spectacular reason for visiting.

We arrived at this beautiful airport, I looked around outside the airport and was wowed. I was waiting for another call from my previous caller on what next to do but nothing happened.

I was about to regret why I came when I had a voice behind me.

"Hello George", I turned around to see who it was.

He was a handsome tall guy, I stretched my hand to say hello and he hugged me instead.

"How did you know my name?", I asked and he replied,"it is a small world"

He continued,"Welcome to Neoxian city, my name is Fox and I am a citizen of this city".

"Who bears the name Fox?", I asked in my head and just put up a faint smile.

He continued, "you have been here for a while, do you need help?"

"Yes, I do. I have been waiting for a call but didn't get one".

He laughed and said, "the city is open for everyone, feel free to explore".

"It's getting dark, is there a nearby hotel where I can pass the night?", I asked.

"There are no hotels in Neoxian city", he replied.

He brought out a device and tapped it for a while.

"Nkem said you can stay at her place, she has a big apartment".

"Who is Nkem", I asked.

"Stop a cab and tell the driver, he knows where to take you", Fox replied.

"I don't have any money, I thought this would be an all-expense paid trip".

"Yes it is, just use your coin for anything you want", Fox replied before leaving.

I did as instructed and soon found myself at Nkem's house.

It was a castle and I said to myself, "She must be the queen of this city".

I was welcomed and the hospitality was just too great. She treated me like a family and I couldn't thank her enough.

Morning came and she asked if I would love to attend Investor Burl's 10k HP celebration. I couldn't say no even though I didn't know what she meant, it would be great to meet awesome citizens of the city.

We arrived there and Nkem was introducing me to people when I met Fox again.

"You came around, that's good. Have you met Mr. Dragon?".

Fox and Dragon, those names made me felt like I was walking into something I didn't plan for. Is this a cult or a cartel kind of thing? These names sound too strong, I remembered Nkem introducing to Rosecane, Simcard, Dagger212, and others earlier, compiling those names doesn't sound fun.

He took me through a back door and we kept going down the stairs.

"Can we just return?", I asked with a shaky voice.

"We are almost there", Fox replied.

Finally, we arrived and the building's basement turned out to be another beautiful place.

"That's Mr. Dragon over there, he is the founder and the most powerful man in the city. I will introduce you to him when he is done making the call but first, meet Investor Burl our celebrant for today".

He looks young but after chatting with him, I was blown away by how intelligent he is.

Mr. Dragon finally ended his call and we all approached him together.

He welcomed me to the city and I felt great meeting the founder of Neoxian city. I returned to the party with Fox and Investor Burl, it was great meeting everyone.

While the party was on, a man walked in. He had a hat and leather jacket on, everyone fixed their eyes on him and I was wondering who he was.

"That's detective Olujay, he is also a citizen", Fox whispered to my ear.

Immediately, I started thinking about why a detective barged in like that.

Could criminals be among us?

"God please I don't want to encounter any issues here", I prayed.

I wasn't done praying when I noticed the detective walking towards me.

"Hey you", the detective called.

I looked back to see if there was someone behind but no one was there.

"Could I be the one he is calling?"

He called again, "hey you, the newcomer".

He was certainly calling me so I went to him. At that moment, a tray filled with glasses of wine was brought to the detective.

He grabbed two glasses and handed one over to me when I got to him.

"Relax man, you look too tight, enjoy the city as much as you can.
There are lots of opportunities which include learning and many others so get to know people and keep a good relationship with them".

I felt at ease after he welcomed me, he turned out to be a man with a great personality. After the weekend, I made sure I visited the city always because of how much it impacted me on my first visit. Relocating completely will be a good thing for me and you would have done the same if it was you.
