Before my post let’s first do some #NinetiesFriday housekeeping!

I’m hoping this builds into something similar to ThreeTuneTuesday where we have many people involved! But I gotta start so here we go! I will give 3 basic income units to a winning random post every week who uses the #NinetiesFriday tag. Also @thebighigg has jumped in to match for 6 total weekly prize! If anyone else wants to sponsor with any amount of units let me know or just send if you don’t wanna commit to weekly 👍

Some ideas are music, movies, television, sports, or really anything Nineties related. I assume movie or tv or music topic reviews or talk will be most common, but you could also talk a sports memory or something else. Think the Pop Culture of the times, but it would be great to hear about little known and interesting bands or entertainment items. Don’t forget to use tag #NinetiesFriday

Ok now last weeks random winner!

@summertooth wins! 3 HSBI from me & @thebighigg will be sending 3 over also!

@summertooth posted about the legendary band Ministry! Check it out below

Ok now my new week’s Nineties Friday Punkrock post!

IMG_4174.jpeg

This #NinetiesFriday I’ll be sharing my favorite tunes from & talking about Punk - O - Rama Compilation’s One, Two & Three. It’s a CD that Epitaph Records put out once a year or every other year that had songs from all the bands on the label. They were used to promote the bands and record label. They were Usually sold for a buck or $2.99 at a record store and you get 20+ songs.

I was originally going to talk about all six Punk - O - Rama Comps I remember from growing up but it just got so long I’d have to post a 45 min vlog so I cut out the volume 4 talk and will do a part two in a few weeks on 4,5,6.

The albums I’m talking ⬇️

Coming up next week ⬇️

I’love save the part 2 of Punk-O-Rama for a couple weeks later since it’s more underground vibes. I like to mix it up with a popular nineties item every other week than do a less known item.

I was in middle school and remember my sister who was already outta college and living and working in New York City about a hour train ride away from my suburban town. Took me to see this and loved it! It’s corny AF looking back but the fact u had the guy from Empire Records & That Thing You Do who was always the like 6th lead now was the lead I thought was cool.
Plus I had a 8th grade crush on Jenn Love Hewitt!
Even same as Empire Records soundtrack last week , movie had a bunch of songs in the movie that aren’t on the soundtrack so does this movie 🍿 i’ll be talking em all! It has some great tunes that play. Anyway i’ll be back next #NinetiesFriday with Movie & Soundtrack talk!

Talking about things I totally forgot about.
I know my brother had one, at least one, but I can´t say for sure which one it had NOFX on it 4 sure because that was the main reason he bought it.

Damn all these lost memories, what happened to my brain???

Voodoo Glow Skulls were a fun band. I used to go see them a lot in Riverside, CA way back. Even interviewed them for our zine. Good times.

That’s awesome! Always loved Delinquent Song! Made most my mixtapes back in 98/99/2000…

Definitely saw em at a couple warped tours but man that’s rad you got to interview em 🎸
