In previous cycles, Hive (and Steem) pumps were initiated by the Korean exchanges.

But since they brought in tougher alt regulations in June, Koreans have been reluctant to trade smaller coins, and are sticking to BTC, ETH. If you look at the trading volumes for Hive on the Korean exchanges, they're down substantially.

In my opinion, that's why Hive isn't moving up.

I'm glad to have some BTC, that little sliver is worth twice my Hive account. As they say, "Don't keep all your digital eggs in one crypto."

BTC is the king of crypto. That won't change and I don't understand why they bash it. It doesn't seem worth it because almost all cryptos are linked to BTC to an extent.

I have been a holder for more than 4 years. I hope, as some influencers say, that the increase in BTC will be something never seen before to make a profit, but I will take a 70/30, leave satochis and continue accumulating.
