On this Saturday morning it’s eighties alternative Saturday! We are picking tunes from two pixies records. Each picking a song each from 1988’s “Surfer Rosa” & 1989’s “Doolittle” record.

Ashlee goes with the song Where Is My Mind (1988) & Here Comes Your Man (1989). Gene goes with Monkey Gone to Heaven (1989) & Bone Machine (1988).

The Pixies were an eighties/nineties alternative rock band who were one of Nirvana’s biggest influences. With out these eighties records from the pixies Nirvana would’ve had to steal from another band and wouldn’t sound the same as they did.
