🎄A Punk Rock Christmas Three Tune Tuesday! 🎁 With Gene & Ashlee! Featuring One Band MxPx 🎸
On this Three Tune Tuesday Gene is sick and on antibiotics and Prednisone so we aren’t going to go crazy in long explanations today. I (Ashlee) am working Christmas Eve at the store I manage and it’s gonna be busy AF! We decided to pick 3 songs from one band. That band is MxPx! Most known for the #Nineties pop punk records they released but there still going today and after putting out some eh records in the 2000’s they actually got back to some really good stuff in 2018 & 2023. We’ll do those records Thursday morning but for today we are picking all Christmas songs. MxPx put out one Christmas song a year from 1998-2012 for fan club members only. They ended up releasing them as a Christmas album years later but originally it was just for fan club members. Gene picked there 1998 & 1999 songs as his nineties Friday post https://hive.blog/hive-139070/@geneeverett/12-20-24-a-very-nineties-pop-punk-christmas-post-plus-a-very-chanukah-adam-sandler-tune-picking-tunes-and-vlog-nineties-friday you can check those out at this link. We are going to choose 3 songs from the mid 2000’s and a bonus tune from the twenty teens!
First up for Gene it’s “Christmas and I Am Sick” released in 2004 and later released in 2009 on the album Punk Rock Christmas.
Second up its 2006’s “Late Grear Snowball Fight Of 2005” also on the 2009 Punk Rock Christmas Album!
Next up it’s the song “Punk Rock Christmas” released publicly on the 2009 album with same name!
And for a bonus it’s 2003’s “Christmas Night If The Living Dead” also on the same 2009 Punk Rock Christmas album!
And last up another bonus jam tho one from Christmas season 2018. The song December which features guest vocals from Emily Whitehurst & Pierre
Bouvier the lead singer of Simple Plan & punk chick singer) hope you enjoy 100% Christmas tunes from MxPx & Friends!
