I know I have been procrastinating when it comes to me investing in HBD but I'll get that done someday

This is what makes the Hive ecosystem pretty interesting. This allows the members to earn passive income after some time.

While, I'm relatively new here, I hope I can start earning more than a dollar a month in interest before the year ends.

Gettin' costly.

It’s really amazing to see how HBD savings is giving out flat 20% APR when most of the other similar crypto projects have failed to do so. Handing a giant 100k USD amount and giving out interest is not a challenge anymore it seems and for the investors who don’t want to to possess much risk in crypto with their money may see this as a great chance to invest! According to statics. People show more interest to save their HBD in savings. I also have a plan of saving HBD in saving but my first plan is to increase my HP to 500 then I send my all savings to HBD saving account.

It's great to see people love HBD and the reward/interest they are getting from staking their precious HBD, they belive in the vision and the hard work done by the witnesses and the trust they got from this platform.

The numbers are steadily climbing up. HBD savings is a great investment opportunity on the chain. More users are utilising it. Will join them soon.

I am still up in the ranks around 300 and I hope to stay up in the top 500 next month.

Sheesh, Congrats every one!

It is interesting to see the stability of this asset even during a bear market. In my case, I have reached 14HBD with my account, and hopefully, it is going to flourish in the end-of-year.

I’m inching closer to getting on the bottom of the top 700 list hahah.

Interesting that we dipped down a little bit, I wonder how many people dropped off the list from withdrawing their HBD

Glad to see familiar names particularly the 95th place in the list of Top 700 HBD Interest Payments. 😅 I wonder why there is a huge drop in the number of accounts in July 2021 and a big spike in May 2022. Hopefully, I am already done with my 120 savings before the whales outside of Hive's ecosystem will discover HBD. 😆

What happened to the number of accounts, between June and July 2021?

As we all know that for the last two years the bear market has been going and it has been very good for people and people have been benefiting from it. Giving good APR to Stable coin is great because people love HBD so much. This has greatly benefited people within the bear market who had stake their coins and earn reward and bear their daily expenses.

Awesome piece on the success of HBD on the Hive blockchain as a stablecoin! It's impressive to see how well HBD has performed in terms of interest payments for holding it as well as stability and dependability as an inflation hedge. The information you provided regarding the total HBD interest payments and accounts by month is quite useful and demonstrates a consistent rise over time. It's exciting to consider that HBD might eventually receive 1,000,000 HBD in interest payments, especially in light of the approaching halving of Bitcoin and the potential for a fresh bull market across the board for all cryptocurrencies.

The price of HBD is guaranteed by HIVE.

If you really wanted to provide useful information; you could track the market cap of HIVE and HBD.

Ausbit Bank shows the current market cap of HIVE and HBD. It showed $12,040,918.832 HBD and $194,866,237.671 HIVE when I copied the data from the site a second ago. It says:

HBD Marketcap is currently 6.179 % of HIVE Marketcap

The problem with snapshot data is that one really needs to see the change over time.

For example, one thing I noticed is that there is usually a drop in the HBD market cap when the price of HIVE drops. Since HBD is fixed. This means that users convert their HBD to HIVE in dips.

The dip at the end of the year saw users converting well over a million HBD to HIVE at an average price of $0.33. That generated an additional 3 million HIVE when the market was week.

There was another big dip a month ago which saw HBD holders convert over a million HBD to HIVE at under $0.4 . That was another 2.5 million HIVE dumped on the market in a slump.

HIVE has been on a downward slide since mid-April. The HBD market cap slid from $12.3 to $12.0.

BTW, when the witnesses decided to raise the interest to 20% I predicted that there would be a blood bath on Hive-Engine. The reason for this was that most of the money flowing into HE came from the HBD earnings on HIVE posts. Drying up the supply of SWAP.HIVE caused the HE coins to tank.

I also predicted that HBD would be sold during down turns. That seems to happen.

I also predicted that raising the interest rate would lead to a steady drop in active monthly users on HIVE. A large number of people in this world have been seriously harmed by debt and there are many, many, many people who avoid business relations with companies that push debt.

Anyway your data shows that HIVE is now paying over $1.2 million a year interest on its debt.

I've seen a few thousand people have their lives destroyed by debt. What happens is that there is a two year period where they purveyors of debt feel that they created a paradise. Things start getting tight in year three .... the over the edge period usually happens in year four or five.

Anyway, looking at just one figure in the Hive-O-Sphere provides an incomplete view of the system.

BTW: I see that you get upvotes from whales. I get downvotes from whales. This same pattern happens in companies that get swamped by debt. The merchants of debt praise those who praise debt.

I like this system, it feels so close and real. The pace is commendable and I think the 1,000,000 target might not be too far.

I will keep on growing my savings as much as I can 😉

history repeats and bitcoins reaches new highs, this may mean bull market for entire crypto market which wouldn't leave out Hive.

I have a feeling this could happen too, but honestly I'm not in a hurry. I want to accumulate a life changing amount first :) ...

That said, I believe HBD is just like Hive itself is ready for mass adoption.
