First, unlike the thoughts that as a CEO you get paid instantly, the reverse is the case. You do not get paid instantly, rather you start to pay people who are smarter than you to do things. At this point, you need to look for people that are smart, people that are willing, people that are able to utilize tools and let them do what they love with the tools they got. Micromanaging talents isn't what a company needs, the goal is to build a business that is profitable and to do so you need to utilize the talents you have.

At every stage there are responsibilities with companies and leveling up is a way to get out of it. When I mean leveling up, I mean distributing the responsibilities so you can be free to focus on growing the business so it an outlive you. If you are a business owner and you are the one running almost everything in the business, then you are running a job and not a business. Your job is to create a business that can run even when you are not there and not to do the job yourself. You are paid to build team and create success instead of running the entire show.

The role of a CEO is far more complex and demanding than it might appear. Success as a CEO comes from building a business that can stand the test of time and operate smoothly without your constant presence. So, before aspiring to this glamorous title, it's crucial to understand the responsibilities and challenges that come with it.
