Small visit to jodhpur city of Rajasthan, You cannot leave Jodhpur without visiting the Clock Tower which is also known as Ghanta Ghar, In india you will find every district is having clock tower, which facilitate the people to know time, clock towers were placed at the centre of towns and established mostly in the tallest structures so that it is able to watch the time. but what especial about clock tower of jodhpur is you get ticket to see how clock is working, first time I had such experience in my life.

The tower was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh, from whom the adjacent Sardar Market takes its name

Blue City heritage tour is walk to blueCity area to see old city area and houses of local people, According to me blue City is best part of jodhpur where you come across the city heart, see the local culture, and the simple lifestyle of Jodhpuri people, while walking through the street of city, i really lost my heart, i don't have words to describe the simplicity of the people living here. Still they follow all the rituals and cultural. The ladies of city wore lehnga with dupatta to cover the head to show their respect towards elders.

Shopping 🛍️

Who can skip shopping in Jodhpur while vacationing in this most beautiful heritage city of India?

Rajasthan is famous for it's handmade chutti(footwear), colour wall decoration, Rajasthani fabric, Traditional Jewellery,bangles,Rajasthanic embroidery work and many more such items, from these items are exported out of India too.
There has been many famous places for shopping at cheap prices. But due to shortage of time i have visited to nearby market to tower clock, to buy some Rajasthani items for my sister's and Aunt's.

How it is looking, this is for my sister,It is called as jodhpuri jutti, threadwork is done all over, the colour of it attracted me the most.

Apart from varities of footwear, textiles, bags, Amazing handicrafts and dupattas are available in this market. It is a lively place and most popular Street market to hang-out for tourists and locals alike. Here,In India in every tourist places, you must have bargaining skills to get your favourite items at most affordable price.

It was great to see these houses from close and know about their culture, It is place where people still have old thoughts and old way of living.

The view from above looks so mesmerising, how small the houses look right now, I had to walk a lot, I got lost, I had forgotten that even taking photos, finally when I reached the top, I drank water, took a breath, only then I took photos.
