👩🍳 How to Make Idli 👩🍳
Instant rava idli is prepared with Eno instead of Baking soda and curd to fasten the fermentation process. Don't use baking soda, as it reacts with Indian spices, especially with turmeric, and produces idli which is orange in color, For White sponge always use Eno.
Step 1 Take one big bowl, Add samolinazcurd and salt. mix well making sure everything is well combined. Also, add cup water and mix adjusting the consistency. Add the Eno at the last, just mix it well.
Step 2 now, Grease the Idli plate with oil,Fill the plate with batter, Place the idli plate in a steamer and steam for 15 minutes.
Finally, enjoy rava idli is ready, you can enjoy it with sanbhar, chutney or sauce.
🍳 Time to Fry 🍳
As i like the fried idlis, now take a kadai/pan, heat the oil, add Fenugreek seeds, waits untill it starts crackling.
Step 1 Now Saute the chopped onion untill gets brown in colour, now add chopped tomatoes, cooked untill it gets soften.
Step 2 It's time add indian spices like Turmeric, add some water, cooked it for 15 to 20 seconds.
Step 4 Cut your idlis into 4 pieces, So that it can easily mix with masala Gravy.
Step 5 Now Add Green coriander leaves, Mix it with light hands so that idlis doesn't break.
Tips Do not use idlis that are steaming hot, let first cool downs the idlis then add it on masala, as hot idlis are too soft, fluffy and moist, they can break in the oil while frying.
Serve with Hot fried Idlis with Green chutney/ White South Indian chutney 😋😋

It's first time I heard about idli Im really curious about Indian cuisine, is idli suitable with sweet and salty things both?
It's Salty cuisine.. but by spreading chocolate syrup on the top of plain idlis to make it sweet...
