Explore Again Nainital

Nainital, the charming Himalayan lake town, is a picture-postcard perfect hill-station and one of the most popular in Northern India. Commonly known as the ‘Lake District’, Nainital is nestled high up in the Kumaon Himalayas at an altitude of around 2,000 m above sea level. This beautiful town in surrounded by seven hills, majestic mountains and the sparkling waters of the lake add an immense lot to the beauty of the town

I have told you completely about Nainital in my previous blog, so today like share to adventurous journey at Ropeway of Nainital, Uttarakhand.

When I went there was clear sky but gradually the weather became hazy and the whole sky became cloudy and Suddenly it started raining heavily.It was an amazingly beautiful sight with mountains and lakes in the rain.

Tickets Price

Price for Two ways(adults)- 260($3.11)

Price for children (3 to 12 years) - 150 ($2)

The price was not high, it is a government rate, so the price is worth this much.I wish myself very lucky. Because those were the last tickets we got. I got the last slot which was at 6:00 and I had to come back at 7:30. There were only two cards, one for going and one for coming, so things were very sorted,there was no confusion or no hussle. Up to 10 people could travel on a cable trolley, that too according to their ticket number. All the slots ahead were busy, so we must have waited for about an hour for our number to come.

All the slots ahead were busy, so we must have waited for about an hour for our number to come. I was excited for the cable cart experience,I have taken photos of my cable cart from every angle. I was really scared that I was going to such a height for the first time but i was also excited to see beautiful view from above.

My journey started from here, so I want to show you all my journey through my photos.

There was a security driver along with all the passengers who was operating the cart, it was made from all four tire sides and I was standing near the window. The window was opened very slightly. I took out my mobile and started photography.

Seeing such a beautiful view, the eyes, heart and mind all became cool. I was feeling so good that how should I express my feelings. This is the same lake where I have done boating, I have told this in my previous blog.

The small black things you see in the river are all boats. This carts stops at Snow View Point which is at a height of 2270 M from the lake,the total distance journey of ropeway is 700 Meters. The Timming of cable cart is around 3 minutes of one way. Just image 700 meters distance is cover just in 3 minutes only Where at mountains took atleast Half an hour to cover such distance.

there was return time mention in the tickets, Actually you can do exploration for two hours but we were in the last slot so we got only one hour for explosion at snow view point.

It was an amazingly beautiful sight, it was the first time I had seen mountains from so high. This became a memorable day of my life. I will never forget this trip of mine.

At Snow View Point, you will find a lot for shopping, food and drink, amusement park, High swings, Bungee jumping , Car carting and there is a lot to enjoy.

In my next blog, I will tell you which swings I enjoyed at Snow View Point, done horse riding on mountains and many more adventurous journey.
