Life never ceases to amaze me 😲🤔🫂🧡[SPA/ENG]

Un saludo cariñoso para todos, espero que su día vaya bien. Ahora es unos de esos momentos donde veo arreglarse a mi esposo y a mi hija para asistir a una de las reuniones que tanto me gustan. Pero por motivo de reposo nuevamente no puedo asistir. Trato de entender y estar tranquila, pero no es nada fácil, no puedo evitar sentir la melancolía.

Warm greetings to all, I hope your day is going well. Now is one of those moments where I see my husband and daughter getting ready to attend one of the meetings that I like so much. But due to rest I can't attend again. I try to understand and be calm, but it is not easy, I can't help feeling nostalgic.

Ayer recibí una muy grata visita, de dos personas muy queridas. Hoy les quiero hablar de un jóven que desde que lo conozco lo he visto con ojos de madre, cada vez que puedo le doy un fuerte abrazo de esos que se dejan sentir por un buen rato.

Yesterday I received a very pleasant visit from two very dear people. Today I want to talk to you about a young man that since I have known him I have seen him with the eyes of a mother, every time I can I give him a big hug of those that you can feel for a long time.

Siempre he visto en la mirada de mi muchacho mucha tristeza, no lograba entender las razones, hasta el día de ayer que pidió estar a solas por un momento conmigo y abrir su lastimado corazón. Fue un momento muy conmovedor, pues él tomó mis manos y con mucho pesar me explicó algunas cosas que desconocía de él.

I have always seen in my boy's eyes a lot of sadness, I could not understand the reasons, until yesterday when he asked to be alone for a moment with me and open his wounded heart. It was a very touching moment, because he took my hands and with much regret he explained to me some things I did not know about him.

Lo escuché con mucha atención e interés, procuré no interrumpirlo, (es algo que me cuesta hacer), sin embargo, dadas las circunstancias, me fue posible. Sentí que en tanto tiempo conociéndolo, ayer por primera vez tuvimos esa conversación que todo hijo quiere tener con su madre.

I listened to him with great attention and interest, I tried not to interrupt him, (it is something that I find difficult to do), however, given the circumstances, it was possible. I felt that in so long knowing him, yesterday for the first time we had that conversation that every son wants to have with his mother.

Finalmente me tocó expresar mi punto de vista, procuré darle mis mejores consejos. De hecho pude narrarle una experiencia personal que estoy segura lo ayudó muchísimo con su situación. Fué un hermoso momento, creo que Dios me lo puso delante para hacerme saber que debo dejar las tristezas, porque hay muchas personas a mi alrededor que necesitan de mi sonrisa y buena actitud.

Finally it was my turn to express my point of view, I tried to give him my best advice. In fact, I was able to tell him a personal experience that I am sure helped him a lot with his situation. It was a beautiful moment, I believe that God put him in front of me to let me know that I must leave the sadness behind, because there are many people around me who need my smile and good attitude.

Lo cierto de todo fue que su visita me hizo reflexionar, pues si hubiese sido más observadora con él, habría podido ayudarlo mucho tiempo atrás. Pero no podemos lamentarnos por lo que no se pudo hacer, sino debemos concentrarnos en lo que haremos de aquí en adelante.

The truth of it all was that his visit made me reflect, because if I had been more observant with him, I would have been able to help him a long time ago. But we can't mourn for what couldn't be done, we must concentrate on what we will do from now on.

Aunque él vino a despedirse porque se va por un tiempo a otro lugar, quedamos de estar en contacto. La verdad quiero mucho a éste chico de ojos y alma triste y estaré orando por él para que su nuevo hogar y personas que lo van a rodear de aquí en adelante, le sirvan de apoyo para sanar sus heridas. Otro detalle que quiero compartirles es que en su celular mi número está registrado como "mamá 2", es algo que arrugó mi corazón. Nunca dejaré de sorprenderme por las bendiciones y los retos que nos pone la vida. Un abrazote para todos y no dejen de mirar con misericordia a quienes están cerca de ustedes, quizás ellos les muestren su mejor sonrisa, para disimular su dolor.

Although he came to say goodbye because he is going to another place for a while, we will stay in touch. I really love this sad-eyed and sad-souled boy and I will be praying for him that his new home and the people who will surround him from now on, will help him to heal his wounds. Another detail I want to share with you is that in his cell phone my number is registered as "mom 2", it is something that wrinkled my heart. I will never cease to be surprised by the blessings and challenges that life brings us. A big hug to all of you and don't stop looking with mercy to those who are close to you, maybe they will show you their best smile, to hide their pain.
