A world classic, but one that got drastically worse

Well, today I wanted to talk about one of the biggest disappointments I had trying the old PES now known as eFootball. And I don't expect great things from soccer games for the same reason, I feel that they are repetitive and they are not to blame, every year they release a new version what they should do is improve graphically and that's it, that's almost all the only thing that can do better, the rest will always be the same because they are sports games, games which are based on a sport so they are governed by its rules. But I also didn't expect a game as poor as eFootball was for me.

Firstly, it is a game that is free in the PS5 store, it is positive that it is free since FIFA24 costs around $70, ok we can say that it has that positive point but the rest lacks many things, one of them that is What the vast majority of us play these types of games is the teams, I came to the conclusion that eFootball does not have almost any license for teams and major leagues, it only has very few teams and variety to choose and play, seriously, The national teams are horrendous, they only have about 15 and they are all European, what happened to Brazil? Argentina? Lol. That's why I think they lost the fight with FIFA and were only able to obtain those few licenses I imagine it was a miracle, otherwise, I think they would have to create imaginary teams hahaha.

One of the things I like most about soccer games is the possibility of creating World Cups, Champions League, Europa League, Confederations Cup, Copa Sudamericana, etc. Well, guess what, there is no way to do any of that here, NOTHING. And I think it is for the same reason, that they did not obtain the licenses, but unless the eFootball league, or the eFootball cup, were deliberately created, I don't know, but they could have created many more things than just ignoring one of the most important reasons. significant aspects of football, winning cups, or something like that.

And let's see, graphically eFootball has good graphics, the same with the animations and physics, they seem very realistic to me but I don't think they are very impressive either. Another quite important criticism is the commentators, both in English and Spanish, this is COOL, but I feel that they repeat the same thing a lot, I understand that it is not life and they are pre-recorded voices, but they also cannot start each fucking match with the same phrases as They started the previous one, I played and I always play since I have Pes 16 on my PC and the commentators were much better, to be honest, XD. I didn't like it very much, the same thing happens at the end of each game, they say phrases that they always say and I don't mind that they repeat them, it's normal and they are an AI, but they should be more variety so as not to notice the repetitive comments.

From what we could see, the game is focused 100% on multiplayer mode, and that's fine since it is the most fun to be able to have your team and climb divisions, etc., etc. But it's not like it's multiplayer from another planet, it's almost the same as what we can find in previous versions and things like that. What bothers me is that by focusing so much on that, they completely abandoned the 1-player mode, which, believe me, many of us like a lot.

We are all fascinated by games full of insults and fights, there is nothing like that here, or at least at least we were never able to see it in more than 30 hours of play, we didn't see any of that and that, no matter how much it makes you feel like you are in a real match, I don't really agree with the refereeing either, I don't know if it was my thing, but We were playing versus the legend mode and we always lost, I understand that it is very difficult to win but we were always needed and the AI never called a foul, it always happened and we got angry because it seemed unfair to us, it seemed as if the game was against us of us hahaha.

Another “positive” point is that every time you open the game the lineups and players are updated, but believe me, it doesn't help much since with the few teams there are, you won't even notice a change XD.

There's not much more to say if you have the PS5 and you don't want to spend $70 on FIFA and you want to wait for the price to drop, I recommend it, but if you already have FIFA, it doesn't matter if it's the 22nd, stick with FIFA, believe me, no. You miss out on nothing good, it's a very bad game and it's not worth it. Well, if you have the money to buy FIFA, buy it, it will be 100 times better than eFootball.

Un clásico mundial, pero que empeoró drásticamente

Bueno, hoy quería hablar de una de las decepciones más grandes que tuve probando el antiguo PES ahora conocido como eFootball. Y es que yo no me espero grandes cosas de juegos de fútbol por lo mismo, siento que son repetitivos y no tienen culpa, cada año que sacan una nueva versión lo que deben hacer es mejorar gráficamente y ya, eso es casi todo lo único que puede hacer mejor, de resto siempre será lo mismo porque son juegos deportivos, juegos los cuales se basan en un deporte así que se rigen a las normas del mismo. Pero tampoco esperaba un juego tan pobre como lo fue eFootball para mi.

Primeramente es un juego que esta gratis en la tienda del PS5, es positivo qué esté gratis ya que FIFA24, cuesta alrededor de 70$, ok podemos decir que tiene ese punto positivo pero de resto carece de muchas cosas, una de ellas y es por lo que la gran mayoría jugamos este tipo de juegos es los equipos, yo llegué a la conclusión de que eFootball no cuenta con casi ninguna licencia de equipos y ligas grandes, solo cuenta con muy pocos equipos y variedad para escoger y jugar, en serio, lo de las selecciones son horrendas, solo cuenta con unas 15 y todas son europeas, qué paso con Brasil? Argentina? Lol. Por eso creo que la lucha con FIFA la perdió y solo pudo obtener esas pocas licencias e imagino que de milagro, de otra forma creo que les fuese tocado crear equipos imaginarios hahaha.

Una de las cosas que más me gustan de los juegos de fútbol es la posibilidad de crear copas del mundo, Champions League, Europa League, Copa Confederaciones, Copa Sudamericana, etc. Pues adivinen, aquí no hay forma de hacer nada de eso, NADA. Y creo que es por lo mismo, las licencias no las obtuvieron, pero al menos que fuesen creado de forma fsntaseosa la liga eFootball, o la copa eFootball, yo qué sé, pero pudieron crear muchas más cosas que solo obviar uno de los motivos más significativos del fútbol, ganar copas o algo así.

Y a ver, gráficamente eFootball tiene buenos gráficos, lo mismo con las animaciones y físicas, me parecen muy realistas pero tampoco creo que sean algo muy impresionante. Otra crítica bastante importante es los comentaristas, tanto en inglés como en español esta COOL, pero siento que repiten mucho lo mismo, entiendo que no es en vivo y son voces pre-grabadas, pero tampoco pueden empezar cada puto partidos con las mismas frases que iniciaron el anterior, jugué y siempre juego ya qué lo tengo en mi PC el Pes 16 y los comentaristas eran mucho mejor la verdad XD. No me gustó mucho, lo mismo ocurre al final de cada juego, dicen frases que siempre dicen y no me importa que las repitan, es normal y son una IA, pero debe haber más variedad para no notar los comentarios repetitivos.

Por lo que pudimos notar el juego está enfocado 100% al modo multijugador, y esta bien ya que es de lo más divertido poder tener tu equipo y subir divisiones, etc, etc. Pero tampoco es que sea un multijugador de otro planeta, es casi lo mismo que podemos encontrar en versiones anteriores y cosas así. Lo que me molesta es que por enfocarse tanto en eso, abandonaron por completo el modo 1 jugador, qué créanme a muchos nos gusta y bastante.

A todos nos fascinan partidos llenos de insultos y peleas, aquí no existe nada parecido, o al
menos nunca pudimos verlo en más de 30 horas de juego, no vimos nada de eso y eso por más que sea te hace sentir que estás en un partidos real, tampoco estoy muy de acuerdo con el arbitraje, no se si fueron cosas mías, pero estábamos jugando versus el modo leyenda y siempre perdíamos, entiendo que es muy difícil ganar pero nosotros siempre hacíamos falta y la IA jamás le pitaron una falta, pasaba siempre y nos llevábamos de ira porque nos parecía injusto, parecía como si el juego estuviese en contra de nosotros hahaha.

Otro punto “positivo” es que cada vez que abres el juego se actualizan las alineaciones y jugadores, pero creeme que no sirve de mucho ya que con los pocos equipos que hay, ni siquiera notarás un cambio XD.

No hay mucho más que decir, si tienes el PS5 y no quieres gastar 70$ en FIFA y quieres esperar que baje de precio, te lo recomiendo, pero si ya tienes FIFA, no importa si es el 22, quedate con FIFA creeme que no te pierdes de nada bueno, es un juego muy malo y no merece la pena. Bueno y si tienes el dinero para comprarte el FIFA, compralo, será 100 veces mejor que eFootball.
