Ah, coffee... I'm not a coffee expert, but I usually consume it on several occasions and only during the day, because if I drink it too late, say after 6 pm, I won't sleep that night.

On more than one occasion it has happened to me, so I only drink it in the daytime.

Just recently I had the opportunity to share with a friend who invited me to her house. We hadn't seen each other or talked for a long time and she told me to bring a sweet to share.

When we arrived at her house we talked for a while while she was preparing coffee.

She surprised me with two cups of coffee with milk, a frothy latte.

I don't really know if this type of coffee has a name, but I simply call it coffee with milk, and it is one of my favorites. Although thanks to my uncle I also learned to drink coffee black, bitter and without sugar, he used to drink it like this.

Well, as I said, he welcomed me with a nice cup of frothy coffee, and just as the title of the post says... what is better than a cup of coffee? exactly, TWO cups of coffee.

As I wrote in this week's coffee conversation, I love to accompany my coffee with something, either cake or a sweet bread.

As she asked me for a sweet bread, I brought a couple of sweet breads that here in my region are known as "Piñitas", in other states of my country they are also called "Sugar Ball".

And we certainly enjoyed chatting with this snack. Coffee happens to be an ideal beverage for conversation.

There are many who would prefer a beer, because of certain types of inhibiting effects it might have. Beer, and other alcoholic beverages, are also often called "liquid courage", because of the same effect it has on our body.

That's why some people prefer them, but I don't know, let's say that for a quiet conversation, where one seeks to talk to a person and catch up with things, I think a cup of coffee, accompanied by a good sweet is an excellent combination. Also, if the company is right, again, two cups of coffee are better than one...

I asked her for the recipe, because when I make coffee at home, I usually make it simple, black coffee as my uncle drinks it, only with a little sugar, because I don't like it bitter.

In this case, she used a four-cup Greca coffee pot, given to her by her grandfather. It is old but has that very characteristic shape that is recognizable at a glance, an old metal coffee pot.

I remember I asked her why she was beating the milk and she told me to be patient. then, when she served the frothy coffee next to the breads, she told me "This is why, so that the foam remains". great...

Ah, el café... no soy un expero en café, pero suelo consumirlo en varias ocasiones y solo de día, porque si lo tomo muy tarde, digamos después de las 6 de la tarde, no dormiré esa noche.

En más de una ocasión me ha pasado, así que solo lo bebo de día.

Precisamente, hace poco tuve la oportunidad de compartir con una amiga que me invitó a su casa. Teníamos mucho tiempo sin vernos ni conversar y me dijo que llevara un dulce para compartir.

Al llegar a su casa conversamos un rato mientras preparaba café.



Me sorprendió con dos tazas de café con leche, un espumoso café con leche.

La verdad desconozco si este tipo de café tiene un nombre, pero yo simplemente lo llamo café con leche, y es uno de mis preferidos. Aunque gracias a mi tío también aprendí a tomar café solo, amargo y sin azúcar, él lo tomaba así.

Pues bien, como dije, me recibió con una buena taza de espumoso café. Y tal como dice el título del post... ¿Qué es mejor que una taza de café? Exacto, DOS tazas de café.



Como escribí en el conversatorio de café de esta semana, a mi me encanta acompañar el café con algo, ya sea torta o un pan dulce.

Como ella me pidió un pan dulce, pues traje un par de panes dulces que aquí en mi región se les conoce como "Piñitas", en otros estados de mi país también se les llama "Bolitas de azúcar"



Y ciertamente disfrutamos mucho de conversar con esta merienda. Pasa que el café es una bebida ideal para conversar.

Hay muchos que preferirían una cerveza, por ciertos tipos de efectos inhibidores que podría tener. A la cerveza, y otras bebidas alcoholicas, también se le suele llamar "valor líquido", por ese mismo efecto que causa en nuestro cuerpo.

Por eso algunas las prefieren, pero no sé, digamos que para una conversación tranquila, donde uno busca conversar con una persona y ponerse al día con las cosas, creo que una taza de café, acompañada de un buen dulce es una excelente combinación. Además, si la compañía es la adecuada, de nuevo, dos tazas de café son mejor que una...



Le pedí la receta, porque cuando hago café en mi casa, lo suelo hacer sencillo, café negro como lo toma mi tío, solo que con un poco de azúcar, porque no me gusta amargo.

Ella, en este caso, usó una cafetera greca de cuatro tazas, que le regaló su abuelo. Está viejita pero tiene esa forma muy característica que se reconoce a simple vista, una vieja cafetera de metal.


Recuerdo que le pregunté por qué batía la leche y me dijo que tuviera paciencia. Entonces, cuando ella sirvió el café espumoso junto a los panes, me dijo "Por esto, para que quede la espuma". Genial...



Bien amigos, esto ha sido todo. Estoy seguro de que es mi primer post en la comunidad, pues he hecho comentarios en otras publicaciones, pero no me había animado a hacer una publicación como tal.
