Greetings fellow Splinterlands and art lovers. In another week of this art contest I would like to share with you an art inspired by one of the Splinterlands Rebellion cards.

In a charming character called Meriput Magician, a little mouse that without a doubt I found very cute and made in 3D it looks just great.

Saludos amigos amantes del arte y de Splinterlands. En otra semana de este concurso de arte me gustaría compartir con ustedes un arte inspirado en una de las cartas de Rebellión de splinterlands.

En un personaje encantador llamado Meriput Magician, un ratoncito que sin dudas me pareció muy lindo y hecho en 3D se ve simplemente genial.

Step by step

The materials I used for this sculpture were the following:

• Wire
• Yarn
• Plasticine
• Molding tools

The first thing I made was the skeleton, for which I used wire and a thick plastic stick for the head. I joined everything together with thread, to give the skeleton more support.

Los materiales que utilicé para esta escultura fueron los siguientes:

• Alambre
• Hilo
• Plastilina
• Herramientas de moldeado

Lo primero que hice fue el esqueleto, para el cual utilicé alambre y un palillo grueso de plástico para la cabeza. Uní todo con hilo, para darle mayor soporte al esqueleto.

I used brown play dough for the mouse's pants. The design of the pants is a wide or baggy style, so I made them thick, as seen in the picture on the card.

Usé plastilina de color marrón para el pantaloncillo del ratoncito. El diseño del pantalón es uno de estilo ancho o bombacho, así que lo hice grueso, tal como se ve en la imagen de la carta.

Then I made the upper part of the garment. I decided on an olive green color or at least a similar one. The torso is tight to the body and the sleeves are a bit wider, stretched at the edges. On the sleeves I left a little wire that can stick out for the hands.

Luego hice la parte superior de la vestimenta. Me decidí por un color verde oliva o al menos uno parecido. El torso es ceñido al cuerpo y las mangas son un poco más anchas, estiradas en los bordes. En las mangas le dejé un pequeño alambre que pueda sobresalir para las manos.

For the hands I used the same color play dough as for the paws, I just put a small piece between the sleeve and the gloves, which I made with brown play dough.

The hands were really small, so I had to use my cutter to make the little fingers, then on the edge of the glove I put a thick line of plasticine.

Para las manos usé plastilina del mismo color que para las patas, solo le coloqué un pequeño trozo entre la manga y los guantes, los cuales hice con plastilina marrón.

La manos eran realmente pequeñas, así que tuve que usar mi cutter para hacer los deditos, luego en el borde el guante le coloqué una línea gruesa de plastilina.

Once the gloves and paws were finished, I placed pieces of blue plasticine for the paws and some thin lines of orange plasticine for another piece of fabric to cover the blue lack of the doll.

Terminado los guantes y las patas, le coloqué trozos de plastilina azul para las patas y unas líneas delgadas de plastilina color naranja para otro trozo de tela que cubre la falta azul de la muñeca.

This character has a long cape, which I made in the same color as the blue foul. This one I made thin enough so that it would not represent any excessive weight for the figurine, but not so thin that it would break.

Este personaje tiene una larga capa, la cual hice del mismo color que la falta azul. Esta la hice lo suficientemente delgada para que no representara ningún peso excesivo para la figurita, pero no tan delgada como para romperse.

It was time to make the head. The first thing I did was to take a gray plasticine and give it a shape similar to that of a soccer. I made the ears with triangles of the same gray color, covered on top with pink clay.

I put all these pieces together and placed them on top of the head, along with a green scarf that I placed around the neck.

Llegó la hora de hacer la cabeza. Lo primero que hice fue tomar una plastilina de color gris y darle una forma similar a la de un balón de futbol americano. Las orejas las hice con triángulos del mismo color gris, cubiertas en la parte superior con plastilina rosada.

Todas estas piezas las uní la coloqué en la parte superior de a cabeza, junto a una bufanda de color verde que coloqué alrededor del cuello.

The last thing I did was the eyes, large as depicted on the card. I made the mouth, with a pair of long teeth. Also, I made details like the jewels on his forehead and ear.

Lo último que hice fueron los ojos, grandes como se representan en la carta. Hice la boca, con un par de dientes largos. Además, le hice detalles como las joyas que tiene en la frente y en la oreja.

This way the figurine was finished. Below you can see a series of photographs of the final result:
