Queen Charlotte, review (no spoilers)

Que tal todo amigos de Hive, feliz sábado.
El día de hoy les traigo una recomendación 10/10 para este fin de semana, se trata de la nueva mini serie de Netflix: La reina Charlotte. Esta es la precuela de la serie Bridgerton, donde nos muestra la historia más íntima entre nuestra protagonista La reina y su esposo el Rey George.. La miniserie cuenta con solo 6 episodios lo cual queda perfecto para verla toda completa en un solo día (como lo hice yo jaja).
Esta serie se estrenó el pasado 4 de mayo, historia escrita por Shonda Rhimes y Julie Quinn para la plataforma de streaming de Netflix. Protagonizada por India Amarteifio (Reina Charlotte joven), Golda Rosheuvel (Reina Charlotte), Corey Mylchreest (Rey George joven).
Durante toda la serie habrá saltos en el tiempo así que veremos a los personajes jóvenes y como nos los presentan en Bridgerton, debo decir que la elección del cast me pareció genial ya que todos se encargaron de mantener la sintonía, la personalidad y esencia de cada personaje entre el pasado y el presente. La química entre los personajes principales me gustó mucho ya que se siente esa sintonía entre ambos actores para interpretar a los reyes.
Debo decir que me gustó mucho ver esta historia tan a fondo ya que con lo que nos dejan ver de esta pareja en la serie original, se piensa que el amor entre los reyes no es real y que más bien la reina quiere que su esposo muera pero no es así.
Como historias secundarias tendremos la de nuestras queridas Violet y Agatha, así como la de Brimsley el secretario y mano derecha de la reina.
Otro tema importante que no debemos dejar de lado son los escenarios y los vestuarios tan majestuosos de todo el elenco, visualmente la serie enamora.
La serie se ubicó rápidamente entre los más visto ya que es muy cierto que esta producción era sumamente esperada por los fanáticos de Bridgerton y por tener un buen desarrollo también ha tenido muy buenas críticas.
Claramente no todo es color de rosa en la serie y es que no podemos dejar de lado el hecho de que sea una serie de netflix, asi que deben de tener en cuenta que va a haber inclusión en varios personajes y además muchas, pero muchas escenas de parejas haciendo el delicioso. Así que tomen esto como prevención para saber con quién verla.
A pesar de esto, no dejo de recomendar esta mini serie porque es una joya y mucho más para los que nos gusta las historias de época.

Today I bring you a 10/10 recommendation for this weekend, it is the new Netflix mini series: Queen Charlotte. This is the prequel to the Bridgerton series, where it shows us the most intimate story between our protagonist The Queen and her husband King George.... The miniseries has only 6 episodes which is perfect to watch it all in one day (like I did haha).
This series premiered last May 4, story written by Shonda Rhimes and Julie Quinn for the Netflix streaming platform. Starring India Amarteifio (young Queen Charlotte), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Corey Mylchreest (young King George).
Throughout the series there will be time jumps so we will see the young characters and how they are presented to us in Bridgerton, I must say that the choice of the cast was great because everyone was in charge of maintaining the harmony, personality and essence of each character between the past and the present. I really liked the chemistry between the main characters as you can feel the harmony between both actors to play the kings.
I must say that I really enjoyed seeing this story so thoroughly because with what they let us see of this couple in the original series, it is thought that the love between the kings is not real and that rather the queen wants her husband to die but it is not so.
As secondary stories we will have that of our beloved Violet and Agatha, as well as that of Brimsley the secretary and right hand of the queen.
Another important issue that we should not leave aside are the scenery and the majestic costumes of all the cast, visually the series is a must-see.
The series was quickly placed among the most watched as it is very true that this production was highly anticipated by fans of Bridgerton and for having a good development has also had very good reviews.
Clearly not everything is rosy in the series and we can not ignore the fact that it is a Netflix series, so keep in mind that there will be inclusion in several characters and also many, many scenes of couples doing the delicious. So take this as prevention to know who to watch it with.
Despite this, I still recommend this mini series because it is a gem and much more for those of us who like period stories.
