HiveOpenMic Week# 113 | Open Arms by Journey
Hello hive friends!
Have a wonderful day everyone. Here we are on the 113th week of hive openmic with the theme “Infantil”.
For this week, I will be sharing a song cover Open Arms by the American Rock Band Journey. The song was released in 1981 as a single from the Journey’s heavy metal soundtrack album. If you’re born in 80s I don’t think so if you haven’t heard how famous this song was even until today.
Open Arms has been covered by various musicians like Mariah Carey, Barry Manilow, Celine Dion as well as by the Boyz II Men. Also, being performed as the piece by numbers of contestants on musical shows in the US like The Voice, American Idol, Uk’s The X Factor and other countries. Of course in the Philippines as well, as we all know the Journey’s latest front man is a Filipino, Arnel Penida since 2007.
Anyways, I love the song but seems the song doesn’t really love me. I hope you still like it.

PS: A simple observation I would like to make is that you should balance the volume in the edition, there are moments when the audio is a little saturated, but otherwise EXCELLENT 🔥!
Thank you for the compliment. Yeah, regarding the audio I don't usually edit those because I don't have an app for audio. I am just using the singing app called starmaker, then whatever the output of it that's it lol. Anyhow, thank you so much for that, you have observed and the suggestion, appreciate that much so I can adjust by my next record.
Ok I understand that, mmm I think in that case when you download your video you can run it through an app like the one I use, it's called Inshot, there you can edit and lower the volume of your videos when you feel the sound is too loud, that might work for you, I do that, well I edit all my videos in this app.
