What I learnt from mass indoctrination day 2. 13th of April

Excepts from the indoctrination held live on 13th April 2021

A lot of points were made in today’s episode of the indoctrination. It was really an enlightening moment, Ephesians 3:6 and 2 Corinthians 1:1.
That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakes of his promise in Christ by the gospel.

2nd Corinthians 1:1. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia

As Christians, we are all a part of the body which is the church of God. We are not supposed to draft out our own doctrines but be joined to the body to become one.
So many people in the world today have been misled by different church names and strange doctrines introduced to the church. But this is not right.

Also it was discussed according to accept Jesus Christ is not just to lift up your hands in church, but to sit down and study the Bible, learn the doctrines of the Bible and live by it. That’s what it means to really accept Jesus. Accepting hos word and allowing it govern our lives.

There are some doctrines of the Bible that we should live by.

1. The way we talk
2. the way we dress
3. Our attitudes towards people.

1Corinthians 15:1-2 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Philippians 1:13 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

2 Another doctrine of Christ we should obey is singing to God.
Singing is a commandments we must obey. It is part of the gospel according to
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

In conclusion, Let’s not forget that e church is the ‘church of God’ and we should study our Bibles for ourselves to follow the doctrines of the Bible so that we will not be caught up in the doctrines of men. I’m so doing, it show that we have truly accepted Jesus.

This is just a few of so many valid points that were made. I was really blessed and enlightening and definitely waiting for tomorrow for the day 3.
