The Reality in Pet Reincarnation

One of my friends had recently lost a pet she holds very dearly to her heart, and because we have seen a movie before where animals do reincarnate, she became hopeful that probably her dog would reincarnate and find his way back to her arms.

I am not so sure of this even if the movie sounded very convincing, however believed strongly in the possibility of this, so to prevent an argument that could break her heart even further, I advised that we both go through some published articles on the topic and find out what the right phenomenon is. You would be marveled at some of the interesting outcomes of our research.

I found this really interesting story about a dog owner who shared clear evidence that her dog who had died came back to her, and the reasons she shared were very convincing. From loving the same perfume to having similar eyes, and then being able to run errands in a likewise manner to the previous dogs, everything just adds up to say, indeed her dog came back to her. Another article stated that the belief in reincarnation is based on the fact that, there is only a specific amount of energy in the world that can be recycled continuously. Referring to the first law of thermodynamics says energy cannot be created nor destroyed, but it could take other forms. This writer believes that the energy or soul that makes up a life does not burn out at death, but rather it is altered to create a new life.

There have been questions arising as regards why we are here for centuries, and some people turn to religion to get the peace and answers they desire. One of the oldest religions believes seriously in the idea of reincarnation, where the soul takes on another form after death. Some people also believe there is a certain amount of energy in the world that should be recycled continuously until the end.

Different experiments have been carried out to show that, people indeed have souls, but the conclusion as to where the soul goes after death is what arguments are still based on. The concept of reincarnation started in India in about 1,000 to 600 BC, counting it as one of the oldest beliefs in history. Remember the law of conservation of energy by Albert Einstein that states that, energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another. Some believers of this law translate it to mean, that once a soul has left the body, the energy needs to be converted into a new life, and as a result, it takes on another host.

Jenny medley, has written several books on the topic of reincarnation, the author believes that there is no scripture about animals, and she thinks this is because they are closer to God than humans, and as a result, they do not need the scripture to help them build a relationship with God like humans do.

The popular book, A Dog's Purpose written by W.Bruce, also creates an awareness about this topic, where he shares the story about a young boy and his dog. The dog passes away after some years, but he returns to find his human owner.

There have been serious arguments about whether animals have a soul or not, most religion provides little to no information on the topic and most books would typically describe animals as a source of companionship or food, it is as if their purpose is centered around a man and basically for the use of man. However, people who have built strong bonds with their pets always insist on the fact that the pets have souls, some people even argue that their pets are the reincarnations of a dear person who was once lost.

After reading different articles and life stories, I feel the issue of reincarnation is highly dependent on individuals and their beliefs, we cannot tell if there is absolute truth or lies on the topic.
