Share Your Battle Challenge:DRAGONS | Burn Thy Enemies To Their Soul.
Hello to my incredible Splinterlands community,
I hope you'll are doing great. Have my good wish to start your week.
Today is the last day of submission for this week's 'Share Your Battle Challenge' and this week's featured theme is DRAGON.
Like the previous challenges, I'll share my best battle this week using the summoner and monsters from the Dragon splinter.
I'll also share my strategy, team combination, and thoughts about the Dragon splinter.
So, read on...
A Few Words About Dragons
There's nothing to dislike about the dragons. But the best thing about them is that they are versatile, as they can be used with literally any splinter combined.
Also, the Dragon splinter has a wide range of summoners having buff and debuff effects and suitable monsters for every type of attack.
I, personally, use the Dragon splinter very often and these are my favorite monsters from the Dragon splinter -
For Magic Attack-Based Team
Summoner - Delwyn Dragonscale
Monsters - Gold Dragon (as a tank), Diamond Dragon (to slow down the enemy team), Void Dragon (2nd preferred choice for tank), Gloridax Magus (a perfect monster for 3rd or 4th position), Oshuur Constantia.
For Melee Attack-Based Team
Summoner - Daria Dragonscale
Monsters - Djinn Chwala or Desert Dragon (as a tank), Carnage Titan (2nd position in high mana-cap battles), Manticore (2nd position in low to maid mana-cap battles), Dhampir Infiltrator, Dragon Jumper, Whelp Herder.
Since the majority of the monsters from the Dragon splinter are legendary in nature, they cost a bit more mana to use in the battle. But each of them has multiple abilities and with a bit more mana cost, you can build a deadly team from the Dragon splinter.
THE BATTLE
Now, I'll share with you an interesting battle I fought and won using the Dragon summoners Delwyn Dragonscale and the team of monsters from the dragon splinter.
RULESET
Mana Cap: 58
Ruleset:
Close Range: Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
Earthquake: Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.
Active Splinter: Fire, Earth, Life, Dragon.
My Strategy and Team Setup
SUMMONER
Playing with a strong magic attack team is always my first preference and for this battle, I chose the Delwyn Dragonscale as I intended to use a magic attack-based team.
TEAM SETUP
As one of the rulesets was 'earthquake' I used three 'flying' monsters to avoid the earthquake damage.
In this high mana-cap battle, Kralus is my preferred monster as a tank because she has dual attacks, and also she's a 'flying' monster.
In 2nd position, another 'flying' monster Diamond Dragon to slow down the enemy team, and the Spirit Miner in the 4th position to increase the speed of my team. Both have 2 magic attack power and 6 health.
In the 3rd position, High Priest Darius to 'resurrect' my tank when she dies.
Gloridax Magus is in 5th position with 'blast' ability to deal additional damage.
And in 6th position, Adelade Brightwing, another 'flying' monster with 'repair' ability that will give extra protection to the team monsters by restoring the portion of their armor.
Let the battle begin...

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked incredibly great in this battle.
Adding 3 'flying' monster in my was a great idea because they were immune to the 'earthquake' damage.
Kralus did great as a tank with her big health and 5 armor as my enemy team was based on melee and range attack.
Diamond Dragon neutralized the +2 speed buff of the Byzantine Kitty a little and provide good offence when placed as a 2nd tank after Kralus died.
High Priest Darius did 'resurrect' the Kralus but it didn't do much help. But it sure does some heavy damage to the enemy team.
Spirit Miner did what he's good at, increasing the speed of the friendly team.
Gloridax Magus did some additional damage with his 'blast' damage and Adelade Brightwing restores some armor and deals nice damage to the enemy team.
The strategy was perfect and it brings me win.
And that's all for today, guys.

Your battle is very good. You have selected the cards keeping in mind the battle rule set which is commendable. I've always loved dragon cards, and my favorite summoner is DelWYN Dragonscale because it increases the magic attacks of fellow players. That's why I use the element of water with this summoner. Your battle is really awesome. Thanks for sharing.
