Seafood Fried Rice on a rainy New Year’s Day 😅

I don't remember a time when it rained during New Year's Eve and the first day of the new year as well until today, 2024 is going to be a blessing for sure! As the old saying goes:

“Rain is a blessing when it falls gently on parched fields, turning the earth green, causing the birds to sing.”

Today's lunch was a typical seafood weekend meal for me, I just really like seafood that's why I often go to places that offer fresh seafood. There's nothing better than a freshly cooked food.

It's also a staple for me, especially during lunch, is rice. It's very filling and it pairs well with any savory dish. In a day, I would eat rice for at least 1 or 2 meals. Sometimes, a noodle dish is also a good option for me during dinner.

For this lunch, the Seafood fried rice is an easy choice for me as I'm already starving.

A Chinese-style fried rice is one of my go to type of dish because of the nice stir-fried flavor using a Wok. A highly skilled Chinese Cook can do wonders using a Wok that’s why a quality of a dish also depends on the quality of experience the cook has.

I like this type of fried rice recipe because it has the right balance of taste, flavor, and ingredients as well. It has all my favorite seafood, the prawns, squid, and the white fish.

And of course, the pickled green chili has added the tanginess that this dish require to make it complete.
