Relishing Briyani and Red Velvet Muffins Like It’s a Special Occasion
Today felt like a celebration of indulgence! I gave in to my cravings and treated myself to some incredible food as if it were a special occasion, even though it wasn't. Savoring delicious meals is my way of rewarding myself, and today was the perfect moment for it.
For lunch, I visited Koothurar Beach Road Briyani, and for dessert, I headed to Cat In The Hat pastry shop in Golden Mile Food Center.
Before diving into the muffin, I enjoyed Koothurar Beach Road Briyani’s Chicken Briyani. This isn’t your typical commercialized Briyani; it’s crafted with the warmth and authenticity of home-cooked meals, thanks to the family-run business. The flavors are subtly rich, highlighting natural ingredients.
At just $8, the portion was incredibly generous, I couldn’t finish it all, even though I wanted to. The meal came with two pieces of chicken and a hard-boiled egg, a delightful surprise compared to the usual Apalam cracker you get elsewhere.
For dessert, I made my way to Cat In The Hat pastry shop, where the Red Velvet muffin immediately caught my eye. It featured a sweet and tangy filling, topped with a cherry and luscious cream cheese frosting.
After devouring all this fantastic food, I felt utterly satisfied.
Today was a delicious indulgence, as I treated myself to some amazing food that felt like a special occasion. The Chicken Briyani at Koothurar Beach Road Briyani and the Red Velvet muffin from Cat In The Hat pastry shop made for an unforgettable culinary experience. Feeling completely satisfied, I’m already looking forward to my next foodie adventure!
