Affordable Delights at Long Chen Charcoal Roasted Meat

One of the very popular foods in the city is roasted meat. Although I seldom order this food, I still enjoy a meal every once in a while. Today's lunch was from Long Chen Charcoal Roasted Meat!

Among the many brands of this dish, I think this stall offers one of the most affordable. For S$5, I think this set of 2 roasted dishes is worth it. A few days ago, I tried the Yu Kee Duck rice which is a few stalls away from Long Chen's stall.

There was no queue so the food was served quickly.

If there's one thing that will catch someone's attention in this stall is the display. It's quite common to see the roasted meat being hung as a way to market the food. It looks more sellable and appealing to customers if they see the food being shown this way.

This hawker food center here in Marine Parade may not be the biggest but I'm surprised that they have a variety of cuisines that are being offered. There are several types of noodle stalls and roasted meat. I also saw vegetable soup, snacks, and even soya bean pearl which is my favorite.

The food center is very accessible. From Marine Parade station, you will have to exit #1 and as soon as you are out then it directly lead you to the food center.

Today, there is an ongoing food fair event. From my last visit, they are just starting to set up the stalls. Now, they are in full operation. I wasn't prepared to take a heavy lunch so I didn't buy anything from any of the food fair's products.

Among all of the stalls, the one that caught my attention was the Coin Cheese waffle. This item is quite popular because it went viral on social media.
