How My Hive Story Could Change Overnight🥰 ||| Hive Naija Weekly Prompt

Greeting 🥰🙏 friends and my Naija Pals, this is my response to this week's Hive Naija weekly prompt answering the question;

_{Would you prefer 1 Million nairas in cash or a day with Aliko Dangote The richest man in Africa?}

These are two great opportunities that I will have to be smart in making a choice. If I go straight to collect the one million naira, that will be on the safer side but I might be missing out on a bigger opportunity considering this is Dangote, the richest man in Africa we are talking about here.

If we happen to meet he might decide to dash me a larger amount of money than a million naira. Also, he may not, you know how business people can be with money sometimes.

Here are some other possible scenarios I could think of if I go with the meetings option.

As an entrepreneur, I showed him my millions of naira business proposals. He loved it so much and decided to sponsor it or become my partner. You can just imagine what kind of level I will find myself in afterward.

During the meeting, he could inspire me with a life-changing idea, or link me with such a great opportunity I could ever imagine. The list of benefits of meeting him is a lot but let's look at it from the other side of the coin.

I might sell my idea to him and he doesn't buy into it, he might say oh, I love your idea, I shall get back to you and he never will. Or we might end up just eating some fancy meal and that is the end of the discussion since the question above does not specify any benefits attached to the meeting. Or that very day he just happens to wake up on the wrong side of the bed and things don't go in my favor. As I can tell, a man such as Dangote might be very unpredictable.

So What Choice Will I Make And Why

As I'm writing this, an old saying kept on ringing in my ear, a bird at hand is better than a thousand in the bush

For this, I'm going to play it safe and go for the one million naira cash, with the sole aim of investing the whole of it in my Hive Power.

With the current Hive price of around $0.36, I could be powering up 3,289 which will give my account a great boost overnight. My influence in the community will increase, and my daily curation reward will go higher.

I could be set for when hive finally moon

Thinking long term, I saw a hive price prediction on a website yesterday to be between $8-$10 comes 2030 and that inspired me to keep building my stake here. By then my one million naira worth of hive today will be worth around 27.7 million naira without even taking into calculation the interest that will be on it between now and 2030. So meeting Dangote or not I could be set for life with my choice of collecting the one million naira cash because I will continue to manage my asset diligently.
