Monomad challenge | Simón Bolívar's House - Casa de Simón Bolívar

Greetings to all black and white lovers, I wanted to share with you a walk through the center of my city, after a walk through the National Pantheon, my son and I continued down the boulevard until we reached the emblematic house of Simon Bolivar, known as the Liberator.

Saludos a todos los amantes del blanco y negro, quería compartirles un paseo por el centro de mi Ciudad, luego de un paseo por el Panteón Nacional, seguimos bajando mi hijo y yo por el boulevard hasta llegar a la emblemática casa de Simón Bolívar, conocido como el Libertador.

In this historic and important place, Simón Bolívar was born in 1783 and this house was converted into a museum.

En este histórico e importante lugar, nación Simón Bolívar en 1783 y esta casa fue convertida en un museo.

This immense tree has remained in the house since that time.

Este inmenso árbol permanece en la casa desde esa época.

And one of the most impressive things about this house and the National Pantheon are the works of art painted by Tito Salas, who recreates with images the entire history of Simón Bolívar.

Y una de las cosas más impresionantes de esta casa y del Panteón Nacional son las obras de arte pintadas por Tito Salas, que recrea con imágenes toda la historia de Simón Bolívar.

He did not sign his works and in one of his paintings he made a self-portrait. This commission of paintings he did in 1919, he is one of the most important painters of our country.

No firmaba sus obras y en una de sus pinturas hizo un autoretrato. Este encargo de pinturas las hizo en 1919, es uno de los pintores más importantes de nuestro país.

There are other oil paintings in the rooms of this museum, which are originals of the time, and thanks to them it was possible to reconstruct our history.

Hay otras obras al óleo en las salas de este museo, que son originales de la época, y que gracias a ellas se pudo reconstruir nuestra historia.

The camera I use is a Canon Eos 20D Mark III and I edit in Lightroom. All writings, photos, vignettes and paintings are of my authorship.
