If the air is invisible to humans, but water is visible, is it vise versa for fish?

Ooh that is a good question! Well, apparently light leaving water refracts on the surface of water. This means a fish in a river will look closer to the surface, than it really is, to a person looking in from the side...

Ah- thank you but that wasn't my question 😅 I was asking a joke question. If we can't see air, but can see water, can fish see air but not water?

Hahaha it is a funny question and maybe I'm too serious! But... Can we see water if it's clean enough? I've seen drone footage of clean water over reef... And it looked like the water wasn't even there until a wave came!
