Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! My Featuring Battle

I meant to write this post a few days ago but I've been busy and hoping a more interesting battle come up so that I left it until today.
It was an interesting battle anyhow.

Splinterlands is a very interesting game with a considerable size of ecosystem and one of the best play-to-earn game if not the best. As a play-to-earn game, you earn cryptos by playing Splinterlands battle but it doesn't end there. There are several ways earn with Splinterlands and Hive ecosystem as a whole.

This, posting "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge" is one of the many ways to earn. I believe this is part of the marketing strategy to spread about Splinterlands.

The battle I'd like to share was against Death splinter with 15 mana cap with 2 rules. One was Rise of the Commons, where you can play only common and rare cards and the other was Super Sneak rule, where all melee attack have Sneak ability, which mean melee cards without range attack now have Sneak ability. Fire and Earth splinters were not allowed.

As I have to take advantage of the rule, I decided to use Sea Monster for having self Heal ability. There are a few strategies to play with Super Sneak rule. One is having self heal ability like I had used. Another one is placing a card with Shield ability. You can also just forget the rule and use the cards that focus on the tank using magic cards and a strong tank with some small meats at the end of the line. People like to include cards with Demoralized ability that can be combine with Shield ability to have maximum effect.

Since Fire splinter was omitted, Living Lava card with Shield ability can't be used. Earth was not included as well and we can forget about using magic heavy splinter. I decided to use Sea Monster for having heal ability and did not need to worry about several attacks because of low mana capped battle.

_{With 15 mana available, both of us didn't have many choice to field with, one strong card and a few cheap cards. Enemy decided to place Cursed Windeku as the tank where I placed Sea Monster at the end.}

_{Shield from the summoner gave extra protection that I lost just one card Chaos Agent after round 1 compare to loosing 2 cards on the other side.}

_{Sea Monster got some attacks but were so small that it was fine after healing.}

_{Sea Monster attack is so high that it didn't have to attack many times and result was settled in round 4.}

Did My Strategy Worked?
I worked perfectly. If you have more mana, you might want to place Sea Monster in between near the end of the line. Even though Sea Monster has heal ability, it can't stand for so many attacks. So that by the time more suitable card was out, enemy had reduced attacks and Sea Monster has more chance to survive.
