Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! Even Scarred Llama Mage Has a Bad Day

Hey guys.. Mingalar par မင်္ဂလာပါ..

I reached to Silver I last season so far the highest one, and started with higher than usual rating points in the beginning of new season. This week, I think I played a few battles that worth reporting. I'm going to report one of them.

_{This is one of the battles won against Conqueror Jacek. There were a couple of wins against that line-up, seems it has some weakness.}

Scarred Llama Mage may be one of the summoner that guarantee you a win with enough mana to spend. You won't get a chance to win against it when you use typical starter summoners. For 7 mana cost, it gives you 3 buffs. You get +2 health for all friendly monsters. It provides cleanse ability to the 1st position monster. The best one may be it provides last stand ability to the all friendly monsters. Which ever monster left as the last monster alive shall get last stand ability and increase all stats.



The battle was Death vs Earth battle with 24 mana available. Rules were no shield and no heal. I had my usual line up that focus on the back-line and a magic sniper.
My opponent used 0 mana Fungus Fiend, Creepy Ooze to slow down my cards, a level 3 Flesh Golem followed by Kron the Undying, a super strong and high attacking card with healing ability.

_{Creeping Ooze was snipped. Fungus Fiend was eliminated by thorn ability. Kron the Undying was badly hurt.}

_{Kron the Undying became a target for the sniper and sneakers that it didn't make the 2nd round. Flesh Golem was the last monster and got the Last Stand buff and it became faster stronger and had more attack.}

_{Flash Golem managed to kill my thorny monster Cursed Windeku and it was badly hurt in the process.}

_{Flash Golem last just one more round and got eliminated in the round number 4.}

Did my Strategy Worked?
Once again, it was not my strategy that worked, the line-up just happened to be superior against the enemy in all areas. My team targeted most dangerous monster first. My enemy seemed to have a plan to have the Kron the Undying to be the last monster and it failed in several ways.

• It magic attack was reduced by my summoner
• It lost heal ability to the battle rule
• All my cards targeted it.
  It meant that you won't get a guarantee win all the time.
  But.. hey, if you give me those monsters, I'd be more than happy.
