Buenas compadres, ¿Cómo están? espero que se encuentren bien, en forma y bien desayunados mis panas, porque hoy vamos a abordar un anime de varios temas filosóficos, que viene combinado con peleas al estilo de los superhéroes y dilemas ciertamente problemáticos para mas de uno, y que para mi, tiene un final bastante inesperado que si bien, no es que la haga una obra maestra incomprendida, si me parece que se lleva muy buenos puntos en originalidad y capacidad para mantener entretenido, bienvenidos mi gente, a una mini review de Platinum End, donde 12 serán los elegidos y solo 1 el escogido para regir la humanidad, ante la inminente y anunciada muerte de dios, ¡Comencemos!

I hope you are well, fit and well breakfasted my panas, because today we are going to approach an anime of several philosophical themes, that comes combined with superhero style fights and certainly problematic dilemmas for more than one, and that for me, has a quite unexpected ending that although, it is not that it makes it a misunderstood masterpiece, but it seems to me that it gets very good points in originality and ability to keep entertaining, welcome my people, to a mini review of Platinum End, where 12 will be the chosen ones and only 1 will be chosen to rule humanity, before the imminent and announced death of god, Let's start!
Nuestra historia empieza con un joven que quiere atentar contra su propia vida, al asegurar ser incapaz de sobrellevar el sufrimiento de su vida, y de la nada, se deja caer hacia el suelo desde lo alto de un edificio, es aquí cuando una criatura extraña, que se presenta así misma como una Ángel, le salva la vida cargándolo en sus brazos, indicando que ha sido escogido para ser uno de 12 candidatos que han sido escogidos para participar en una disputa por ver, quien será el siguiente dios, y si, si esto te recuerda a cierto anime, que tiene una muy cuestionable chica de pelo rosa y unos celulares Nokia, pues bueno mi pana, déjame decirte que no eres el único, no obstante, pese a las semejanzas, las cosas se manejan un poco diferente en este caso, mientras que en el mencionado los participantes solo contaban con sus teléfonos con sus diferentes poderes, aquí las cosas son relativamente mas "equilabradas" siendo que todos empiezan con distintas ventajas solo condicionadas por el rango de los angeles que les tocaron, siendo de hecho, nuestro protagonista, Mirai, un afortunado por tocarle uno de los angeles mas poderosos, no obstante, las cosas no serán tan sencillas, pues, pronto, los candidatos tarde o temprano sera iran revelando a lo largo de los capítulos, y cada uno, tendra una idea bien diferente de lo que un dios debe o no debe hacer, es asi como comienza Platinum End
Our story begins with a young man who wants to make an attempt on his own life, claiming to be unable to cope with the suffering of his life, and out of nowhere, he falls to the ground from the top of a building, this is when a strange creature, which presents itself as an Angel, saves his life by carrying him in her arms, indicating that he has been chosen to be one of 12 candidates that have been chosen to participate in a dispute to see who will be the next god, and yes, if this reminds you of a certain anime, which has a very questionable girl with pink hair and Nokia cell phones, well my friend, let me tell you that you are not the only one, however, despite the similarities, things are handled a little differently, things are handled a little differently in this case, while in the aforementioned the participants only had their phones with their different powers, here things are relatively more “balanced” being that everyone starts with different advantages only conditioned by the rank of the angels that touched them, being in fact, However, things will not be so simple, because soon, sooner or later, the candidates will be revealed throughout the chapters, and each one will have a very different idea of what a god should or should not do, this is how Platinum End begins.

Hablando de un anime que viene de la mano con la idea de ser dios y de los creadores de los que considero uno de los mejores animes y mejores historias llevadas a este medio, Death Note, obviamente, una cosa que hacen excelente es meter argumentos ideologías y claro, justificaciones para que los personajes sean como son, además, se explora mucho ideas bastante fuertes, como la depresión, la culpa y hasta que punto se puede llegar a creer en la humanidad o en seres mas allá de nuestra compresión, es algo que genuinamente me gusto bastante, además de la animación y también del primer villano que presenta el manga, no obstante, tal como en la Death Note, este anime también sufre del mismo síndrome, cosa que dejaremos para el siguiente apartado, pero pese a eso, creo que tiene lo suficiente para darle continuidad por lo menos hasta ver el final.
Speaking of an anime that comes hand in hand with the idea of being god and the creators of what I consider one of the best anime and best stories taken to this medium, Death Note, obviously, one thing they do excellent is to put arguments ideologies and of course, justifications for the characters to be as they are, in addition, it explores a lot quite strong ideas, such as depression, guilt and to what extent you can come to believe in humanity or beings beyond our understanding, is something that I genuinely liked a lot, in addition to the animation and also the first villain that presents the manga, however, as in Death Note, this anime also suffers from the same syndrome, which we will leave for the next section, but despite that, I think it has enough to give continuity at least until the end.

Por desgracia, pese a que muestra mucha filosofía y personajes que la verdad me gustaron, llega a ser un poco cansado, por no decir agotador, la aptitud del protagonista, su filosofía y la "evangelización" del villano, aunque no es tan malo como parece, se vuelve pesado, también creo que todo este contexto, combinado con la idea de trajes y de super héroes se veía y se escucha bien en el papel, pero la ejecución creo que la cosa no funciona muy bien que digamos, siento que me estoy viendo una versión bien rara de Boku no Hero con mucho catolicismo y ateísmo de por medio, no obstante, que esta opinan mía no les haga perder la curiosidad por esta obra, creo que por lo menos un intento se merece, sobretodo por el final, que aunque tampoco es que la super cosa, pues, uno no se acostumbra a que cierren las cosas de esa formas, y menos en tiempos actuales, cuando todo se resuelve evangelizando villanos, reviviendo personajes de la muerte o con excusas bien absurdas, aqui por lo menos no dejaron espacio para mas
Unfortunately, although it shows a lot of philosophy and characters that I really liked, it becomes a little tiring, not to say exhausting, the attitude of the protagonist, his philosophy and the “evangelization” of the villain, although he is not as bad as it seems, it becomes heavy, I also think that all this context, combined with the idea of costumes and super heroes looked and sounded good on paper, but the execution I think the thing does not work very well let's say, I feel like I'm watching a weird version of Boku no Hero with a lot of Catholicism and atheism in between, however, I hope this opinion of mine doesn't make you lose your curiosity for this work, I think it deserves at least a try, especially for the ending, although it's not the greatest thing either, well, one doesn't get used to things being closed that way, and even less in current times, when everything is solved by evangelizing villains, reviving characters from the dead or with absurd excuses, here at least they didn't leave room for more.

Pasando a la conclusión, creo que Platinum End merece una oportunidad, si bien no es algo que llegue a ser lo mas entretenido, si es interesante hasta cierto punto como manejan su temática y sus personajes, personalmente, me hizo cuestionarme lo que significa ser dios, lo complicado que es en si mismo asumir una absurdo como conociendo las limitaciones humanas, y sin dudas, las ideas de lo que seria un dios "bueno" o "malo" espero que les haya gustado compadres, en la próxima oportunidad, les comentare una anime que ame con todo mi ser, los quiero.
Moving on to the conclusion, I think Platinum End deserves a chance, although it is not something that becomes the most entertaining, it is interesting to some extent how they handle their themes and characters, personally, it made me question what it means to be god, how complicated it is in itself to assume an absurdity as knowing the human limitations, and no doubt, the ideas of what would be a “good” or “bad” god, I hope you liked it compadres, next time, I will tell you an anime that I love with all my being, I love you.
