Heart Rain
The sonnet uses the metaphor of rain to depict a journey of emotional healing and transformation. The octave sets up the initial state of emotional burden and the transformative power of rain, while the sextet explores the aftermath of this transformation and the speaker’s hopeful outlook. The sonnet beautifully captures the human experience of healing and the power of nature in facilitating this process.
'Sonnets For The Twenty-First Century And A Circadian Musical'
In the following post, I'm sharing the work I've been doing with the platform udio.com, where I'm musicalizing each of the 175 sonnets from my father's collection in various ways. As a musician, I understand that AI can replace us in many aspects of life, but musicalizing my father's sonnets with the help of AI helps me convey his words in different ways that can be achieved through music.

Heart Rain I let the rain wash all those memoríes It reached my heart, absent of all glories My tears have also been lost in the rainSonnet 93 by Francisco Luis Arroyave Tabares
That have been hiding in my stubborn head
And that weight in my chest with pound ot lead
Making the days go by in centuries.
And moistening its gardens that were dead
Flowers started to grow in it instead
Giving way to other kinds of stories.
After which I see some fresh new shadows
Tic, splash, tic, splash, is never all in vain...
Because in the sky there are no more clouds
We wish a storm could sooth away our pain
And scatter the threats that our hearts surround.
