Peinar esta peluca fue sorprendentemente rápido, la parte complicada sin duda fue el flequillo. |Styling this wig was surprisingly quick, the tricky part was definitely the bangs.
Esta es la reacción que siempre busco al medir una peluca, la cara de emoción lo dice todo. | This is the reaction I always look for when measuring a wig, the excited face says it all.
Aquí estaba dejando la peluca bien sujeta, la presentación requería que se moviera mucho entonces tenia que estar sujeta. | Here I was leaving the wig securely fastened, the presentation required it to move a lot so it had to be fastened.
Mientras la maquilladora hacia los últimos retoques. | While the makeup artist did the final touches.
Hola amigos de Hive! Hoy les quiero mostrar un poco de esta experiencia en las ferias de mi ciudad. Esta chica, participante en un concurso de imitadores imitando a Lady Gaga , llegó a nuestra tienda y se enamoró de las pelucas. Sin embargo, ya les quedaban pocos recursos y no podían pagar nuestros servicios. Así que decidimos apadrinarla. Mi amiga fue la maquiladora y yo me encargué de la peluca. Elegimos un modelo muy parecido a uno de los que ha usado Lady Gaga en sus videos musicales y peinamos la peluca para que se viera mucho más parecida.
Todo fue en tiempo récord, pero amamos todos el resultado.
En el concurso quedó en 3er lugar, pero sinceramente creo que mi pequeña ciudad no estaba preparada para el talento que tiene esta chica. A sus 17 años, imitaba a Gaga muy bien y además canta inglés y francés totalmente fluido.
Hi Hive friends! Today I want to share a bit about this experience at one of the city fairs. This young woman, a contestant in a Lady Gaga impersonator competition, came to our shop and fell in love with the wigs. However, their resources were running low, and they couldn't afford our services. So, we decided to sponsor her. My friend did her makeup, and I took care of the wig. We chose a style very similar to one of Lady Gaga's music videos and styled it to look even more like it.
Everything came together in record time, and we all loved the final result.
In the competition, she placed 3rd, but honestly, I believe my small town wasn't quite ready for her talent. At just 17 years old, she did an amazing Lady Gaga impersonation and can also sing fluently in English and French.
Esta chica se robó nuestro corazón y estábamos muy felices con nuestro trabajo. | This girl stole our hearts and we were very happy with our work.
