Mass Indoctrination day 9, 28/04/2022.

Thanks be to God.
Brethren may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all.

Here are the lessons I learnt from today's Mass Indoctrination service held on zoom.

Our gathering as Christians, has a reason.

The Bible teaches us to observe one another to prove onto love.
In the church of God,the Brethren should observe one another. The main reason for gathering is to see, hear and identify one another.
You have to be concerned and have a sense of care for the Brethren.
So, In the church we observe one another.
Be observant, means to watch.
As we watch and show love to each other, we practice maintenance.
There is a maintenance for the Christian.
A Christian should have maintenance which is brotherly love and exhorting one another.
The reason for gathering should not be centered on things such as money, job marriage etc.
In other churches, their reason for gathering is collecting of money.
leaders use all kinds of means to gather and collect money from members to enrich themselves.
In the church, we should have respect for everyone. We don't have to discriminate.
There are poor and rich people in the church, so the rich ones should help the poor ones. There should not be any form of discrimination amongst members. That is what God wants us to practice.
we should observe and figure out those who need help so that we can offer them the necessary asistance.

There are things to do as members during gathering.

Studying the word of God.

Studying the word of God is the biggest part of gathering.
God wants us to study his word and obey it. We can only do that when we meet at the gathering. Because we will receive the word of God and we will listen and obey.

Sing is also done during gathering.

Singing praises to God during gathering is one of the best things to do.
In our lives singing has become part of us and we use songs in almost everything we do.
The Bible says that, How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
So during gathering, singing is very important.
And singing must be done by everyone and not only the choir. We should all patispate in the singing.
Singing is very important because, God, Christ and Angels sing.
Singing during gathering can cause Deliverance. When we sing at gathering evil spirits go away.

We receive revelation from the minister.

Revelations from the minister is also important during gathering.
During gathering, the minister can reveal the mysteries of God through his word to us.

There is also Speaking of different tongues.

Speaking of different languages is also acceptable during gatherings. People from different places with different languages meet. So it is allowed to use different languages during gathering.

Language interpretation is also done during gathering.

Interpretation of various languages is also allowed.
We may have people who will not understand certain language so it will be very important to interpret so understanding.

When should gathering be done in the church.

The early Christians gather during the first day of the week.
Collection is also done on the first day of the week.
According to first Corinthians, it says,
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
The disciples, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
In our time we have gathering regularly depending on your location.
Gathering in the morning, afternoon or evening and daily is acceptable.
You can choose anytime to gather.

During gatherings there benefits that we can get. And some of them are,
forgiveness and healing.
As we forgive others their sins, God also forgives our sins and we receive healing through prayers and singing.
