Launching of ShoKiN and a 3rd workshop in Aba, Nigeria
It was another successful week of creating awareness for the SpendHBD project which ended in the workshop and launching of ShoKiN today. I wish to use this opportunity to appreciate everyone that attended. The video you see below is a section of my presentation where I took questions from those that attended the event and tried to provide clear answers.

Below is another video we took before leaving for shopping as a group. We were happy to show the camera our SpendHBD branded plastic bags.

Explaining what the project is all about
For the few newbies that attended, I started the presentation by helping them have a background understanding of Hive. Then I went straight into explaining what SpendHBD is and what it hopes to achieve. It was a session that opened their eyes about the very possibilities of turning purchases into income and being rewarded for every money spent.
There was a time I reserved for answering questions so far and attendees took that time get those important questions answered. It was really immersive. After this came the time to learn how to pay for purchases. I developed a demon QR and allowed those in attendance to scan it. For the new ones that attended, accounts were created and they also learnt how to scan. It was all fun too.
Announcing ShoKiN
The workshop cannot conclude without announcing that we would start a group shopping event which henceforth will happen every weekend. That event us known as ShoKiN. So beyond the regular individual purchases any time, we all will assemble as a group on Saturdays to visit a shop and buy from them as a group. Some of the benefits of this group shopping such as raising a big sales amount in one transaction was explained and other things.
Concluding, I encouraged everyone to support ShoKiN and explained that it would have lots of amazing benefits for all members.
Once we concluded, many in the group bought their HBD for the day's shopping activity and then we took group photos before heading out to start the first ShoKiN activity for the weekend.
So the founding members for ShoKiN is automatically everyone that was present and followed us to buy stuffs from Kcee Kcee Supermarkets.
So below are the founding members of ShoKiN a total of 20 members:

Shopping at Kcee Kcee Supermarket
We all left as a group to Kcee Kcee supermarket which was about 10 minutes drive from the workshop venue. Once we arrived, we started shopping.
We had a serious challenge of Internet signal. It was really poor at this shop. We eventually spent many hours just trying to upload images after completing payments. It took all my time and attention to help all 18 persons to complete their transactions. At the end, I was so tired to do mine. But I was happy to assist everyone else.
Considering the really bad nature of internet signals, I will consider the possibility of getting a 5G router which we could use especially during shopping evenys like this. So that when the signals from the internet operators are really bad, we can just use it.
Finally
ShoKiN has been launched and these friends will always come together every weekend to visit one store and buy from them. I am confident the group would grow as old and new members join us. A lot of amazing things will happen from this project and connection, hopefully.
Every weekend, I will make a post about our ShoKiN activity for the week. Our collective goal would be to attract new users, increase our numbers from this 20 persons that started it, and eventually become the largest organized network of buyers all sponsored by the SpendHBD network. We will also creat
Here's to another massive and successful shopping experience, though it came with it's own challenges it was worth all the stress. Looking forward to another ShoKiN meetup.
